Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
Captain in a few years time I think. Lives and bleeds it, literally. Can't wait to see how good he's going to be.
I think he's next in line when Brown hangs up the boots. He's inspirational at 19 FFS!
I cannot see anyone else who will take over the arm band when Brown decides to hand it over.

KT was raging when he went off yesterday, you could see him pointing and I can only assume it was at that big lump.

Great to see him at the end and the passion in the celebration.

I think Rogic was always going to be on for McGregor at some point.
Losing KT, was a right bastard though. We had no threat down the left after that. If he'd stayed on, we would have pulverised the cheating hammer throwing carrots in that last 30 mins anyway.

If someone does a Keane/Haaland on Stockley I'll be quite happy. Watched it five or six times... Judas bastard.
That's a bit strong mate
Naw it's no. carrots like Stockley need to be removed from the game permanently. For as long as he gets a game it's guaranteed that someone will be seriously injured so it's best for everybody if it's Stockley himself. Preferably with the sort of career-ending injury that he tries to inflict on others.

Unlikely, but Aberdeen got most purchase down that side when Tierney went off.
Stockley is a marked man. If only Bobo was in the side yesterday.

Yet Madden and his troupe of assistants saw nothing, same as they missed the push on Griffiths seconds earlier.

I fully expect to see Madden in the Press today claiming that Tierney told him by use of hand signals that it wasn't a foul and that Stockley got a touch on the ball.

It was shown and discussed on Sportscene highlights. Stephen Thomson said it was deliberate, but Michael Stewart surprisingly gave Stockley the benefit of the doubt, saying he was an "awkward player with no spatial awareness". Bullcrap. Stockley is a thug, and the assault on Kieran was pre-meditated, just as the same elbow blow was at Pittodrie two weeks ago. He's not fit to be on a football field.

I'm still trying to work out why what he did makes him a Judas :ponder:

Incredible to think that Stockley got booked twice and sent off within minutes of coming on at Ibrox for similar incidents, yet in the SC final he's not even given a talking to.

The more you see it, the more it's obvious he's swung the elbow deliberately.

Said it yesterday, accidental force might result in a burst lip. But a broken jaw requires a level of force only achieved with intent.

Totally deliberate. They saw we had no cover on the bench and took him out. He could have broke Tierney's jaw two weeks ago.

That tackle by the Motherwell player could also have finished his career.

If Tierney went over the top you could see why he'd maybe be targeted but he's on honest, but hard wee guy. Said it before that refs are lenient when it comes to scandalous tackles and assaults on Celtic players. It's almost as if they feel an evening up through thuggery is fine and Celtic should just have to deal with it because we have a better squad.

This sort of shampoo has gone on all year. No wonder Scotland is a backward nation when it comes to football internationally because it's still way too reliant on hammer throwers.

One thing being hard, but that Stockley is a coward. If Michael Stewart or anyone else think he's simply no spatial awareness then he shouldn't be on the field in the first place if he's a permanent danger to people's health.

Horrible bastard. Telling that he never got involved in any controversy for the rest of the game. Nor did he get hooked before he got sent off. All of which suggests to me that it was his job to take him out.

Are people actually trying to suggest it wasn't intentional?
If he didn't have the track record of already elbowing people this season then yeah you could probably give him the benefit of the doubt. It's not 100% obviously intentional because the arm is straight at his side rather than raised up to face height and and swung with his arm folded in. It does look like hes potentially just turning and his arm flails out.

However he has lost any right to benefit of the doubt due to previous elbowings so yeah he's done it deliberately.
This utter shampooe has to stop

I've had a broken jaw and let me tell you, it isn't easy to break a jaw.. Turning around and bumping someone doesn't break their jaw ffs

It's was 100% intentional, it wasn't premeditated imo though. He seemed to turn them realise kt was there and then there's an extra 'swing' in his direction. He's a thug taking an opportunity to do damage in my eyes

Fully expect a media campaign to allow it to pass though, as BBC already had their story straight at halftime. Lost all respect for Stubbs with his view on it too

Did Sky say anything about it?

It's hard to believe that professional footballers and ex pros were queueing up to dismiss that as accidental. They should be ashamed of themselves . until we eradicate this kind of thuggery from the Scottish game, we will continue to be a footballing backwater. That Stockley should get a lengthy ban , but I won't be holding my breath. Meanwhile, Bobby Madden was ill last year, so its all ok.

Still don't get Stewart's argument of he's just a big akward guy. Sorry, but being a pish player doesn't mean you can escape punishment when you go around breaking people's jaws.

Players like stokely and garner will do nothing but hamper the development of younger players in this country. How do we expect to produce quality football players when our referees allow them to be booted and elbowed every week.

Maybe I'm just too much of a nice guy to get it but I just can't understand how a player can go out and purposefully seriously injure a fellow professional? How do they get into that mindset?

KT will be an important player for us for years to come :theclap:

Stockley, on the other hand, will get booted all over the park until he leaves the Sheep, and crawls back under whatever effing rock he came from. Carrot :carrot:
