Tierney is suffering from our predictability as a team. Similar can be said, though to a much lesser extent, of Sinclair. Our midfield look too much to the left hand side. It is the first, second and third option when we are on the ball. Only if we have exhausted our options on the left or the choice is made for our midfielder by our opponents being out of position will we go to the right.
Couldn't agree more Neil !teams are setting up to defend against our left side I'm surprised it took them so long to do this! St. Mirren the first team to figure this out. Shut our left side down very effectively.

Would like to see him play right-back.
Aye why no. While we're at it we'll put Kolo Toure upfront and Paddy Roberts in goal Logan Logan Bailly Logan Bailly on the wing

The Daily Mirror say Arsene Wenger is set to be given a two-year deal by Arsenal and will spend heavily but is resigned to losing both Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil. The newspaper adds that Sanchez and Ozil, whose contracts expire in 2018 and who have yet to agree new deals at the Emirates Stadium, look likely to go. It is also claimed that Wenger will be given a budget of more than £100m by the board this summer, with the Mirror linking several players with possible moves to north London. They include Celtic duo Moussa Dembele and Marc Tierney, Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland, Everton’s Ross Barkley, Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe and Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus. Keepers Jordan Pickford and Joe Hart are also said to be on the club’s radar, as his Jose Gaya, although Manchester City are said to be in pole position to sign the Valencia left-back. http://londonfootballnews.co.uk/transfer-gossip/wenger-stoke-city-jack-butland-celtic-moussa-dembele-marc-tierney-linked/

They're looking at those players, but their budget is only £100 million?
Barkley + Mbappe would wipe out the transfer fund.

I don't think it's anything to do with liking the lad, it's just that some posters/fans see beyond the all consuming love in that many have for him, and comment on him as a footballer rather than an Icon. Tierney has all the potential to be a great player, maybe even a fantastic player, but he's got a long way to go. I hope he fulfills his potential at Celtic.

Pretty much, when a guy like David Potter ( who probably knows more about Celtic than anyone else alive ) puts him in a greatest ever 11, then fans tend to go overboard.

Fair enough but fans seem to reserve some of the most stinging criticism for our homegrown players. He was far from the worst on the pitch on Sunday. He has looked tired in recent games and our manager needs to respond to that and manage the boy's career effectively. His form hasn't been helped by Sinclair going mia in recent games.

He's a superb player and will only get better. I believe the boy is destined for greatness, what a start he's made.
Looks as though he's feeling it a bit after coming back from the layoff though, bit surprised Izzy hasn't had a game but we are looking a little more conservative with regard to rotation as this unbeaten season looms large. We made eight changes at Ross County earlier in the season.

I think when we've got more than adequate back up in Emilio there's certainly a case for giving Tierney a rest. He's played a lot of football and looks a bit jaded.

That's hugely unfair on Izzziguire. When Tierney was out injured, Izzy was a more than capable deputy, and played really well in a few games. Buying a left back in todays market is hard enough. Buying a better one than Izzy who's prepared to sit on the bench might be a task beyond even BR.
