no harm at all in dropping him and bringing izzy in for a few games. izzy deserves to be given a game if KT is off form or needs a rest and he's a more than decent backup. same goes for griffiths and dembele actually.
I don't think Rodgers has had issues with Izzy's professionalism, so a bit different

We had our best spell of games through December with izzy in the team! Just saying!

I'd be tempted to bring Izzy back. I think Kieran could do with a wee rest and I still think he can learn a lot from seeing Izzy playing. I also think Izzy is the slightly better player, but that's mainly an experience thing and KT will surpass him in the next few years.

Fair point, but I'd still give Dembele a game or two out and bring Griffiths in. like Tierney Dembele is still a young player and has played a lot of games this season.

Yeah, he's at an age where it's unusual to play 2 games a week for the full season. I agree with those calling for him to get a bit of a rest soon.

KT is a young man with a great future in the game, he will have dips in form but overall he a great future ahead in the game, and hopefully with Celtic for many years to come.

Best young player we have produced for many a year.
When you consider his age and inexperience it's actually pretty remarkable that up until now his form never really dipped, even now it's only really been 2 games. Great consistency for such a young player.
i dont buy that. I think he looks less effective because Sinclairs form has dipped

He's been dreadful for last three games not two. People forgetting that St Mirren shut him down as well.

David Potter had him in his greatest ever Celtic 11 over Tommy Gemmell

Properly mental.

He's not even as good as Tommy Boyd.

Is that not up to the manager to try different tactics ,looks to me teams are
leaving a man on or close to him so we should be going down the other side
but Luistig hasn't got the legs for a full shift.

Needs a wee break. Remember he's not long back from injury and he's still a kid.

He is needing a rest, I feel that we push a lot through him and its starting to show. He is just a youngster.

Still young and just back from injury, looks like his body could be doing with a rest.

Yes but this is the Kieran Tierney thread.

Have you seen Dembele/Sinclair threads?
A young man who is far from the finished article but will be a top, top player with experience. He has been put under pressure and targeted in the last three games and he has struggled.

Developing as a footballer is all about being challenged and improving from those challenges.

I'm sure Brendan is more than aware that wee Kieran is struggling at the moment and I'm sure he knows what will be best for him, a rest to build up his confidence or keep playing through this tough spell.

The role he is asked to play for us means he probably has to work twice as hard as a few others, and that is a tough shift twice weekly.

Never forget, he is still but a lad who is learning his trade.

I don't forget that. Plenty others on here do though.
