Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
I think we can all agree none of the previously mentioned players can hold a candle to Daniel Fergus McGrain and his brooding looks and piercing eyes
I always thought that Danny looked like he could have been a member of The Average White Band.
ZZ Top for me.

Smashing strike today.

If I was going to nitpick then (even though the pitch was brutal) he still needs to tidy up his game a bit. 2 or 3 misplaced passes, another couple of instances where he rolled the ball to the opposition and overrunning the ball and conceding possession cheaply once or twice. Cut out the slackness and he'll go from strength to strength.

That's all true but that pitch is disgrace - players like Sinclair who are good on the ball looked like they were wading through treacle

Yeah, I acknowledged the shocking state of the pitch. My point is he has those 4 or 5 needlessly sloppy moments in most matches. Hopefully he can eliminate that slackness from his game completely. He's playing very well overall though.

What a goal. It's nice to have his energy in beside Brown, because I think today showed that Brown's legs aren't what they used to be.

I think he has been our best player for the last 4-6 weeks. Didn't see that coming in the summer!

Don't think so mate, sure they said today that wind was against us first half. Regardless it was a superb strike.

I liked him when we signed him, then went off him, now think he's great again.

Marvellous goal today.

Did plenty of running today without imposing himself that much on the game. Conditions were pish so performance forgiven.

That goal....peach of a strike

I was still critical of him about a month or two ago, even when the press and some on here were raving about his improvement this season. I still beleive he was only a bit better than last season back then.

Now though he has to be one of the first names on the teamsheet. Glad he is putting the performances in now, as I really liked him when he signed for us.

He has just about surpassed the quality of his hair.

He's got a lot to his game and is only improving under Brendan Rodgers.
