You build your defensive barriers,
The better he becomes,
If you try to take the ball away,
The faster he will run,
You can't deny him, or even try
To stop our Stuart play,
No matter cause there's

Something inside, Armstrong,
I knew that he could make it,
You proved so many wrong, so wrong,
They thought that your chance had gone, Oh no,
There was something inside, Armstrong
Oh, oh oh oh oh oh, There was something inside, Armstong

:ph43r:

One of the better attempts

Wow, fair play. Brendan is really showing a lot of faith with the guy.

Playing well but captain? Not for me. Big Erik should be captain.

Wow, never seen that coming but Brendan has not got much wrong so we must trust his judgement.

Obviously he believes in him which is great.

Erik was a possible shout but I prefer a midfielder to be captain, someone in the engine room.

Fair play to him I wanted him hunted earlier in the season but he's really come onto it. Expecting a stormer from him today.

Think he had a decent game today, kept most things simple and a few decent runs. Played the Scott Brown role in midfield today.

Few times he should have got his head up and seen GMS making runs though.

He is usually at the centre of the wee intricate one twos on the edge of the opposition box. Kind of Barca style. Unfortunately the link ups are missing a Lionel Messi and seldom come to anything. He has good energy and good hair though and has excelled under Brendan. Definitely a success story this year..

He wasnt poor but we missed him being a bit more free in hs play. A lot of tge time he was doing the Brown role of dropping deep to get ball and that probably woukd work with any other partner than Bitton who then is left walking about the same 15 square yards.

Surprised he got the armband, thought it would be Izzy.
Anyway, Armstrong was excellent first half, pish in the 2nd. Enough to get him a 10 from the Daily Record.

Definitely plays better with Brown. Can still see a lot of growth in his performance though; and that hair!
