I'm not saying he should have buried it, but it was a half decent chance and in not hitting it first time he chose the wrong option, that's all.
I know, I was just being silly.

I thought the same as yourself. probably could have done better, but he done well to get a corner out of it.
Agreed.

On a great run of form now. Like the fact that he plays the simple pass more often than not, but still has an eye for a killer ball if it's there (the pass to Dembele in the first half last night that Dembele probably should have scored with)

This, like many other players, was a do or die season for him in terms on resurrecting his Celtic career. So far, so good.

Seeing him now carry that level of form over several games and into a big one against top class opposition I am starting to believe his Celtic career is going to happen. I think he's a player who has capacity to keep improving.

Given what BR has done with Broony, Armstrong and Forrest I wonder what he could get out of Delia?!
Smith?
Aye, there's a smashing box to box midfielder in there.

someone mentioned today (can't remember if it was in the papers or on the radio) that he looks like a German midfield player just now. Be interesting to see if the continental clubs are watching him now. Might be worth getting him to extend his contract, just in case.

If we sign McArthur will it punt Armstrong out of the team? Hope not as he is really playing well

if you mean McCarthy, then there's no reason why Stuart would get bumped.

Could see a diamond formation like this

........Brown

McCarthy - Armstrong

........Rogic

Yes McCarthy sorry. Hmm if you play that and the usual 4 at the back then you are dropping Forrest or Sinclair (Roberts where applicable)

3-4-3

BR will certainly use 3-4-3 as an option. Whether it becomes his preferred option is yet to be seen, and the likes of Tierney will make a strong case for playing a 4 at the back.

The question was whether Armstrong would drop out the team if we signed McCarthy, and I think the answer is not necessarily.

I was chatting to two of the lads in work who support Liverpool and said that we'd gone 3-Diamond-3 and they were like "What? Oh yeah, Brendan Rodgers. Makes sense."
