Another really good performance tonight at a level I thought was beyond him.

Brendan Rodgers is an extraordinary manager.

maybe we only need one more midfielder now that him , Broony and Tam are delivering more often than not. Great performance tonight.

Found himself so much room in tight situations. Passing was forward and almost faultless. Boundless energy and complete in sync with Brown. Has the ability to go on to be a top player.

Replacing Bitton is the priority. We seem to have the plauer we wanted in Stu.

Thought he was our best player last night, seems to have added a load of composure to his game and managed to be a lot better at distributing the ball and keeping possession.

A guy I had completely written off who has came onto a real game, much like Scott Brown. Great when that happens.

A fine player. Now with confidence and belief. Played extremely well last night.

He has ragdolled that spot away from Bitton with ease and seems to be getting stronger and more dynamic.

It takes a run of games at such a level to learn how to adapt to it and rise to the challenge. All of a sudden he is helping us to keep the ball more, which is a major thing in such games.

Another excellent display last night. The more he grows in confidence the better he becomes; far more dynamism and enthusiasm than Bitton, who will find it hard to get his place back.

Probably his two best games, back to back, in the hoops. It has taken him a long time to get the belief and the mentality, and so much of it must be down to Brendan and his staff.

Playing with Dundee Utd, being good one week in three was acceptable, living up to the expectation at Celtic takes a lot of character.

Onwards and upwards young Stuart

What a turnaround. Could go on to be a first pick if he keeps it up. Has added a good deal of aggression and tenacity to his game.

So good last night. No matter who we sign in January, if it's a midfielder, they'll have a hard time getting him out the team if he keeps this up.

Not saying Stuart is in teh same league as him, definitely not at the moment but I see similarities with Petrov in terms of style.

Box to box, always looking to get beyond the striker and comfortable with the ball at his feet.

The player some of us knew was in there is now coming to the fore.

Great again last night.

Might have hit that one that fell to him first time, looked like a half decent chance.

That was him and not GMS?

Tremendous game. Had the odd moment when his marking could have been better. He will wait before passing, and move with the ball if there isn't a pass on, and it's that ability to get away from opponent while retaining the ball that makes him very different to Biton.

Working his arse off that's for sure. Great engine and decent amount of pace for the "press" that our Brendan so loves; most probably why he's becoming a mainstay just now.

However can't help thinking, that we'll be looking to buy another better quality midfielder for his current position. He's definitely worth keeping though.

Should have done better with that chance, Zidane would have buried that.

I'm not saying he should have buried it, but it was a half decent chance and in not hitting it first time he chose the wrong option, that's all.
