Armstrong is on a hot run of form, and long may it continue. He deserves to be starting every game right now.

His tackling was great today. I worry that we can be a bit light in midfield with him but he did everything asked of him brilliantly.
Loved this tackle.

After izzy's booking I was expecting a yellow from Clancy for that.
Same here. Izzy's tackle was as fair as Armstrongs.

I hate the modern game has pretty much outlawed a good strong fair sliding tackle

His work rate is phenomenal. He seems to thrive on confidence too and the faith shown in him by the manager.

I think if he keeps it up for a sustained period then confidence will be replaced by arrogance - much like Brown has in his locker.

Important thing about that was he had just been shoved in the back when going for a header and should have had a freekick. Armstrong of last year takes the lack of the freekick hard and mopes on the ground, noe he jumps up and does this.

Great game yesterday. Had more good games than bad ones this year. Passing still a bit too erratic for my liking but his energy and tenacity is certainly bringing something to us in the middle .

If he can continue what he's doing and start to be a big imposing bastard like Broony he'll be a first team pick for years to come!

His first touch for the goal is absolutely wonderful. The ball is magnificent but it needed a great first touch to give him even the chance for the finish.

This could be so many descriptions of Brown on KDS over the years

What a performance, just had a feeling he would get on the scoresheet, he was immense yesterday, and after his winner at Killie, good to see he is popping up with vital goals :chuffed:

He's got a lot of talent. Can definitely become a big player for us. Wouldn't have minded him going at the start of the season but he seems transformed this season and looks so much better in his current position.

Even in Europe though his possession is often sloppy that's something that can be worked on, none of the weaknesses he's showing just now are ones that can't be improved. The confidence he's currently playing with is only going to help that. His runs from deep and determination cause trouble against anyone and this was evident particularly in Germany, where he barely played a pass to one of our players all night but was still an threat to BMG.

I'm starting to think that we might not need to sign a midfielder in January now. He has improved unbelievably and looks like he can get even better, love watching him right now :rocker:

I think we have to continually look to improve, regardless of how good we get, on that basis I still think we need a midfielder. Our first 11 is good right now, including Armstrong, but beyond that we have guys like Bitton etc who should be shifted on, if Armstrong can keep his place then great, if not then the new guy will obviously be an improvement.

He was everywhere yesterday, that tackle was immense. More so as tackling isn't something he is known for.
