In a side choc full of improved players, Armstrong is beginning to stand out. If he ever gets the confidence to go with his undoubted ability, he'll be some player.

Yep - he's got a ton of ability and a good athlete too. Has been improving all season. His worst moments have been when he has taken silly options for passes (which he does not complete) when caught like a rabbit in the headlights, particularly in Europe.

The good news for him is his boss can see he's got something and at the moment he's an automatic pick (distance between him and Bitton now). His confidence will improve the more he plays, especially when he plays like he did today.

Will be interesting to se what the transfer window brings but Armstrong beginning to make case that he should be in or around the first team for the next couple of years at least. Fact he is Scottish and the age of the captain help him too.

maybe time is tricking me but he's starting to remind me of a young phil o'donnell

boundless energy, up and down the field, harrassing, decent passer, and the timing of his runs from deep into the box is superb

if he tidies up his finishing he'll be sensational

Covers so much ground I find it actually hard to figure out where he plays. His passing lets him down at a higher level but he was absolutely superb today and as Belanov said above, he's way ahead of Biton now.

Incredible the difference a top class manager makes, just incredible!

I think todays game might be the making of him, he was everywhere, took control of the game. Very impressive.

Pretty fair comparison. Has a bit to go yet but he does remind me of Phil as well.

He was going nowhere under Deila, but has improved under BR, today he was superb, never stopped running, put in some great tackles, took his goal well. His passing is improving, there is loads to build on, coming on a ton.

His tackling was great today. I worry that we can be a bit light in midfield with him but he did everything asked of him brilliantly.

This type of performance needs to become the norm rather than the exception. We need to see that level of tenacity, drive and energy regularly and then we'll know he's been turned into a bona fide starter. He has the intelligence and application to take direction and coaching from BR and I believe he'll continue to improve. Inspiring performance today.

Thought he had a fantastic second half. If he can improve his shooting he can be a real asset to this side.
great shot on target that drew the game level.

Best 90 mins in a Celtic shirt.

Skill , pace . heart - and winning the ball back from the opposition ,which had been missing from his game.

Best player on the park today.

Didn't improve as quickly as Forrest has, but the turnaround has been remarkable!
