Heart of a mouse. Enjoy this contract, it'll be the best you ever see.
The first part of that could be aimed at every player tonight barring Tierney.

Not a wide player. Simple. As it stands, he is not good enough. His performance tonight was clueless.

Awful at Tynecastle when the game was in the balance - worse tonight.

Looked a bundle of energy when he came on as a sub against the sheep at the weekend when the game was already won.

We can manage without players like that.

Develop a back bone or ship out.

Think he is a good player.
He wasn't tonight.

I liked the bit where he was about to take a free kick, and lustig came over to whisper something, presumably about a weakness he'd spotted in the box that could be exploited with a good delivery, and then he just sort of crossed the ball straight to their keeper.

Play him beside Bitton or Brown or the centre attacking midfielder or dont play him at all.

I'd have him at centre mid instead of out wide.

I wouldn't have him playing at all. He hasn't kicked a ball all year.

He'll do a half decent job in the SPL for us but that is as good as his ability will take him.

He looked good when he first came but has been pish for a while now. Hopefully he can rediscover his earlier form.

Him on one wing Forrest on the other.... No wonder we were pish.
Teirney done more going forward
Drifted into the middle alongside Rogic and Griffiths. Had a terrible game.

For sure he isn't a wide player; no real pace and doesn't worry his opposite number enough. Not a full back either.

His situation reminds me of how Barnes treated Petrov. Out of position and exposing weakness in his game rather than exploiting his strengths.

Did he not play in the exact same position in the exact same formation at Dundee United :ponder:

Yeah, he's played much more games as a wide man. However, I think he's always looked better in the middle.

He's crap. Putting him in Johansen's place won't change that.

I think he proves that our current strategy of buying the "best" young Scottish players is flawed.
