The way his energy levels were today, and have been for a while, makes you think there was something quite wrong with him for a long period of last season. He was tiring very quickly, couldn't get around the pitch. Might have been ill or injured but he's certainly sorted now. He was outstanding today.
I've heard a rumour that suggests you're not far off the mark with your assessment of him last season.

Edit: that sounded way more cryptic than I meant it to. I've heard he's maybe had asthma or something and it's not been picked up until fairly recently.
