Armstrong had his best game in Europe on Tuesday,he ran non stop all night,he covered some ground, composure will come with experience.brendan said he has to improve the players they have.the more games the fringe players play in Europe the better it will be.just look at the difference in stuart Armstrong in a short time.patience please.
Correct, he is improving all the time. I think he could turn into a really good player.

Armstrong's best game in Europe was against Inter Milan.

Like him. Seems a hard working player. Just not got what is required at CL level though. His passing is poor and teams will just punish us in Europe for that. Great runner, works hard, would certainly keep him for domestic games.

Agreed. He started off very well, and if he gets back to that level on a consistent basis, then he has a part to play.

Did very well today. Never stopped running, linked well with Roberts and could easily have had a couple of goals himself.

Covered a huge amount of ground today. Impressive performance by the lad.

Has he qualified as a lawyer yet?

Put in a hell of a shift. It says a lot about BR's opinion was happy to utilise him for the whole game at RB with Gamboa on the bench. He probably should have scored today but he adapted well.

If he can tidy up a few points like some of his passing, shooting & decision making - then he could become a very important player for us.
I think he'll listen to Brendan & the coaches & go on to become a very good player.
Great shift today from him - has improved hugely.

Some work rate. He was still busting a gut to get into the box in added on time.

Great performance.

Brilliant shift today. Physical, quick and went full throttle for 90mins. Should have scored though
