I've never been a fan to be honest, but i thought when he came on the midfield was opening up and he played a key role in us getting a grip on things as biton had done a bunk.

This guy is frustrating.

I think he's an excellent footballer and has an awareness and game intelligence that few of our players have. He showed it against the huns at Celtic Park - which many dismissed as them being down to ten men - and then again today. Maybe he just hates the huns :ponder:

I'd be interested to see how he does with a start. I think his best role would be in the '10' occupied by Rogic, but he is nowhere near the Aussies's class. Put him in next to Brown for a few games and see how he does. I reckon he's a classy guy and could do with a run of games.

When he signed I thought he might be an understudy for Broony.
Play them both for a while together & let him learn.

Has proven again that if played in the correct position, he is a good player.

Again, very impressive. Think he deserves a start along with Roberts on Wednesday.

More dynamic than Bitton, fits our style better. Should really be a a useful squad player but until we sign a new central midfielder he should be starting some games.

I slag him all the time, but he put in a good shift today and came on with the right attitude. Well played Stu, you're a potentially good squad player if you can keep that intensity up.

Fixed that for you.

He currently offers more than Bitton.

Hoping that Rodgers going to him in these big games gives him some confidence. He is looking a far better player this season, he's an intelligent guy and seems willing to learn so Rodgers will like him.

Maybe we've found his true position as a super sub. Coming on after an hour, when the midfield battle has settled down, players are tiring and allowing him to make attacking runs.
I thought he lifted the game yesterday and was one of our star players.

The pass through for Griffiths' chipped effort was sublime.

Would give him a run in place of bitton, he's a confidence player and his energy will be useful to us

When he comes on he seems to bring a bit of energy and allows the front players to look for a bit of space.

Whether he would have that sort of impact if he started - who knows. But if he deserves his chance then he should be given his chance.
