Demanded the ball a couple of times. Good to see.

Unlucky not to score. Studs of their 'keepers left boot kept it out.

Very good when we needed him to be.

Drove the team on - needs to keep this type of form going.

Made a great impact when he came on.

Showed a great deal of confidence and swagger with the ball.

I slated him early in the season but he has definitely been an impact sub in some big games.

I felt he changed the game today. The difference between his willingness to run and Bitton's pedestrian performance was stark.

Interesting to see if he can dislodge Bitton from the team or if Rodgers will keep using him as an impact sub.

Should be starting ahead of Bitton at the moment.

We've seen that BR disnae hing about when it comes to benching or moving folk on when they aren't cutting the mustard (Ambrose, Janko, Gordon then De Vries) so I have absolutely no doubt that Bitton will be binned sooner or later for Armstrong or new guy (McCarthy?/ Morrison?) in the transfer window.

Still available, if the warchest allows.

I'm not sure it's not a bit of horses for courses. Bitton is supposed to provide more defensive cohesion in midfield, Armstrong maybe provides more energy and forward driving. I think the success of the sub today was more about Rodgers confidence in Brown protecting the defence on his own and that Erik and Jozo were in total command. Bringing Armstrong on was the more attacking change and was a very good tactical tweak.

Great impact. Dragged them all over the place and very unlucky not to score.

Thought he was very good today but after two great sub performances against them it leaves me asking why he can't do it more often in other games.

He isn't as tidy with the ball as Bitton, yet, so for that reason I think he'll remain a sub for the time being - particularly in Europe, as i don't think SA is as effective at defending as Nir.

That being said, when we're on the front foot he offers far more than Bitton, so domestically he should be seeing more game time.

Looked like BR had a nice word with him at full time and appeared to praise his impact. Hopefully he continues to improve over the course of this season.

Thought he did very well when he came on. Would like to see him getting a few games in the middle with Brown

He has to be given a start ahead of Bitton. I would get a start ahead of Bitton, to be fair.
I don't know you. I've never met you. I've never seen you play football.

I wholly endorse you playing in place of Bitton.

Made a difference when he came on, if he could find that level of consistency every week then he would be some player

With Bitton's dip in form I reckon he'll be getting a run from the start soon enough.
