Well there you go - BR - "that position suits him well" - understudy to Rogic now, rather than Sinclair?

I've slated him and thought it was a crazy sub

He done well
Have to admit I did the same.

Played well, in fact really well when he came on. Was decisive, energetic and tactful.

Hopefully he builds his confidence and becomes another asset for us.

I'd say so. Brendan really wanted a creative player in and I think they would have rotated with Rogic.
As no one came in I think he'll look to play Armstrong there till he can get what he wants.

I'd defended him for the longest time then eventually snapped with him at the start of the season when he just looked awful but if he can dig in now and build on this then we have a player on our hands yet. Able backup to Rogic.

Lovely finish

Me too. Turns out I know less than a professional football manager.

Did really well when he came on.

Rogic is good in that position when on the ball while Armstrong was good today in that position off the ball, moving into spaces that either pulled the defence open for someone else or left himself in space to recieve the ball, like for his goal.

As Bawman said in the match thread, it was a big substitution that won us the match.

Fair effs to him today. Was great when he came on and a good finish for the goal. Hopefully the manager has started to get his head sorted.
