Serious question - Why is he still taking free kicks and corners when his delivery has been hopeless all season? he should have been put the bottom of the list about 6 months ago and every game he starts he takes them.
His corners are hopeless because he's being played out of position :nono:

It has been recently but overall his touch is pretty good imo. His entire game is just terrible atm. Needs dropped for the good of the team and himself.

hauled off at halftime for the 2nd time in 4 appearances

his inclusion tonight was baffling and proof that ronny has no clue about picking his team and is just throwing enough muck at the wall hoping for it to stick
This. Seriously out of form so dropped for one game then brought straight back in? Another crazy decision from the manager.
Thats the way I see it.

Keeping him in the team looks to have done a lot of damage to him.

He's a good player who could be a great player with the right man management. Unfortunately as Deila is fighting for his job he doesn't know his Erse from his elbow and is hoping something clicks into place rather than it done tactically or on merit.

Armstrong needs a break out of the team for his own good and development. He had crises's of confidence at dundee united, its in his make up.

His display at home Vs Inter Milan is what he is capable of and its that we need to harness for playing week in week out.

For me the next two games should see a attacking 3 of

Roberts Allan Christie

we know what commons rogic etc can all do and its not been much.
Armstrong will never be a great player; he's mentally weak and Rogic has been one of only 3 players worth watching this season. Roberts, Allan nor Christie have done anything to merit being included before him.

Also, not aimed at you, but can we kill this myth that he's playing 'out of position'. He's not. He's played there countless times before he joined us.

He is playing out of position. Mulgrew has played at left back many times before, doesn't mean he's a left back. Armstrong is a central midfield player.

I think Armstrong has talent although currently he is duff. Hopefully when we have a new manager he will flourish, if not then he cannot complain he never got his chance.

Don't get me wrong Rogic is a decent enough player and has played a decent amount of games this season but struggles to last the entire game or even influence the entire game. We are looking for a settled front 3 behind the striker. I've no idea who our strongest 3 are but we need to find it and quick!

As for Armstrong having seen him play for dufc when seeing them with family who are arabs (I live in Dundee) he always played best behind the striker although he did get moved around the front 3 or even into central midfield., he is lost out wide. He's a player who needs an arm around the shoulder and made to feel great which comes down to man management. Every player is different some need a kick up the erse others need reassurances.

The problem with Rogic (in fact it sums up this team) is that he waits to influence the game rather than stamping his influence on it.

This time last year we were an active team, going out with purpose and intent. Now we're very passive. The game is something that happens to us not something we influence.

Second touch would be a slide tackle if he had the bollocks to go for it!

Needs a new manager. Deila's burst him.

This is my worry. Looked like he was getting his confidence back for a couple of games a few weeks back.

Some players need to play through a bad spell but he looks bereft of confidence and needs a break for his own good

How he lasted 90 mins is beyond me, utter mince. No wonder Dundee Utd got relegated if Armstrong, GMS and Cifti were there three best player the remainder must be rank rotten.

He can't take a corner to save himself. Seen glimpses of what he can do but they were all too fleeting.

He's been woeful this season and I dunno if it's down to himself or being played out wide. Either way I wouldn't be too fussed if he wasn't here next season.

Having passed up the opportunity to buy the likes of James Mcarthy, and (to a lesser extent) James Mcarthur, SPLOB and his sidekick finally decide it's actually ok to pay a million-plus to another Scottish club for a player.

And sign this guy.

Says it all, really

He was signed on the basis of his performances in the number 10 role. A position Ronny has never played him in.

He could yet come good with some better coaching and a bit of confidence.

If we're bumping threads based on poor performances why the eff can't I see Rogic's anywhere?
