7 million for Stu , 3 million for McGinn , job's a good 'un .
I would hope that with £7M in the bank our ambitions are a lot higher than McGinn.

It's the hope that kills us !

I'm not really McGinn biggest fan but he's in the exact same spot as Stu was when we signed him ,: doing well with a smaller Scots club , ripe for development . I can see it happening .

Good move for everyone. Wish him all the best. Don’t really understand all the bitterness on here.

Aye but we paid a (reported) £1.75m for Armstrong. McGinn is likely to cost twice that amount and maybe not value for money at that price. He won’t be signing for the Huns or Aberdeen so if we don’t go for him chances are he will signing fir the likes of Norwich City and maybe even Sunderland.

He will be sitting rubbing his greasy greedy hands together. The only negative of the move

We shouldn’t be buying players with a view to selling him on for a profit, but buying players to improve our team/squad to be successful which in turn will provide more revenue.

Agreed that's what we should be buying - McGinn won't improve our team.

What is the “proper benefit” that he’s getting?

If he is receiving anything I doubt it's because people feel he's an upright chap and no mistake. Anything he receives will be due under a valid contact and this is his proper benefit.

Mcnamara’s contract would be void after leaving Dundee Utd. Remy and Juneau being a wee bit mischievous, I think.

Team as in first 11 ? If everyone's fit , not suspended and on form , i agree.

But that's rarely the case.
