There's not a chance in effery we're getting 7 million for him.

On top of that it is the worst move for him he'll be gone in the lower leagues in a year or two.

Until Brendan was appointed he was very ordinary in fact he struggled , as everyone says he was great in the invincible year but last year he definitely wasn’t on the same level ,a combination of injuries and lack of form seemed to hold him back, he also struggled in European games which was a big disappointment.
Last year when he eventually signed a new contract after much debate I was happy until I learned it was for only an extra year, thought at the time who does he think he is ? He and possibly his agent have always been ambitious possibly for more money so he’s got what he wanted . Good luck mate !

No

A - we'll get a million or two with shampooloads of add ons if that as he is on his last year and has barely played for twelve months

B - He's not really demonstrated enough consistency to prove he can hack it there over maybe three or four years which I would assume his contract would be - they're taking a punt

I think he's a decent player who if he stayed here would get much better and would be the best bet for him but in reality he's had one good season and has shown no interest in staying here.

I would like him to stay and get better but I would not shed a tear if we got half of the reported fee.

Has Morelos signed for an unnamed Chinese club for £13m yet?

I have absolutely no idea, would guess he would go for a couple of million if that with shampooloads of addons but suddenly you trust the media when it reports a favourable fee for us?

The add ons being two quid a goal and fiver an appearance fee

Fair enough - in my opinion but - Are you his agent?

How many times have the newspapers got a fee right?

I believe the fee quoted for Armstrong - £7m plus add-ons - came from the BBC in England

Edit to add: No SMSM / Hun agenda

Reported wrongly by the SMSM but correctly in France - from PSG

The fee quoted by BBC England would have come from Southampton

Offer him a years extension on the terms he wa on before his last extension,if he doesn't accept tell him the club are open to offers if the price is right and that price is entirely what the club sees fit ie 'that's for us to decide'.

Decent player,but a bit of a knob.

Don't think he really knows his own mind,

:ffs: Just in from the garden didn't realise/read previous posts.

Hope he does well for the sake of our rep dinner parties followed by scrabble when he goes to his real job.
