Can't grumble with £7m when he's in the last year of his deal, but it's only a good deal if we replace him adequately.

I think we'll miss him more than people think.
He made very little contribution last season. I’m not sure what we would miss.

6 terrific months in BRs first season followed by a whole lot of mediocrity. Not really bothered to see him move on, which is very different from the way I felt this time last year.
Yip, last 6 months of Brendan's first season was his high watermark, before and since then mediocre at best

I agree with that, but he was a bit player last season and we did ok. I agree also that we’ ll now look at signing McGinn.

Brown Ntcham

Forrest Rogic McGregor

Armstrong from invincible season wouldn't displace any of those from last year.

Fee is 7m plus add ons. That’s pretty good going!
Thats a brilliant fee considering he has 1year left, wants to leave and we paid £500k for him.

Wish him well but head was turned last year, shame as he was superb in the the invincible season.
Na. £2m double deal for him and GMS. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/31088504

And we'd already offered £250k for GMS, so it was £1.75m
fair enough, still big profit on that

Last season was stop start for him. In spurts you could still see what he could offer though.

Ibrox in September, Pittodrie in October and a few other occasions you could see he was still one of the only bursting midfielders we had.

If we get the inflated £7m and then use the money to pay over the odds for McGinn for example, who is also in the last year of his deal, I don't think I'll be too happy. It's all dependent on who we bring in to fill the gap for me.
