 Thanks for your efforts, one of those occasions where I think we've had the best part of his career and if we get thick end of £10 million he's welcome to go with my good wishes

A loss. Not the one it was last summer. A loss nonetheless.

I'm disappointed because he really was cracking in BR first season but that's the way it goes

His heart wasn’t in it last season, wish him well, not everyone falls in love with Celtic.

The biggest success in the transfer market for Deila. An excellent signing overall, good luck to him.

Not a major loss given his form last season. If we can get a decent wedge to reinvest in players that want to be here all the better.

If he feels that Southampton are the club for him he's rather than I thought. Money over medals. It's not like he wasn't going to be very wealthy playing for us. Hope it goes well for him but he's joining a championship club.
He wouldn't even be guaranteed a start with us next season.

Good luck to him.

6 terrific months in BRs first season followed by a whole lot of mediocrity. Not really bothered to see him move on, which is very different from the way I felt this time last year.

Fee is 7m plus add ons. That’s pretty good going!

Sums it up for me.

Playing silly buggers over his contract left a bad taste in the mouth.

BBC website suggesting initial £7M with add ons. If so, for a player with mixed form and one year left that's excellent business.

He's got the athleticism to do well in the Championship, and is young enough to develop for Southampton.

We get £10m for a player who obviously didn't want to be here long-term.

A win-win all round.

We need to replace him, though.

Good player on his day, but those days didnt happen regularly enough.

If its anywhere near £10m, it will be a significant sum for a good yet inconsistent player. We only got £13-14m for Wanyama and Van Dijk.

“If”? - it’s been made very clear he’s not interested in staying.
The chances of getting more than 6 million for a player with one year left on his contract in Scotland who doesn’t start every game are non-existent
All it takes is a few English clubs to see him as a decent squad player and a bidding war could hit £6m without them blinking.

£6m is pennies in English money.

Not saying we will get that, but it wouldn’t be impossible.
Be lucky to get £4m.
Looks like I was wrong
