I just want to see him drenched in rain in mud, trudging up the tunnel after getting pumpt oot the Carabao Cup by Blackpool, preferably the same week we horse Madrid in the CL. Pretentious git.
In Blackpool too.
I thought he could really become an important player if he stuck with us.
Now, I wouldn't miss him.
The posh Pele.
Take the money and get rid.

Has Armstrong even been offered an extension?
Aye. He signed a 12 month one last year - just as he did at Dundee United previously. He plays hardball with short contracts.
I obviously meant this year.

A year or so ago the manager was publicly stating we were negotiating with the player and giving occasional updates. This year it’s been fairly quiet on that front. To me that would suggest we’ve decided to sell him instead of offering any sort of extension.
Or more likely he’s waiting to see what offers he gets before he speaks to Celtic?

If rumours are correct, Celtic are no bothered if he stays now after his strategy.

Good.

Wouldn't surprise me if the last year of his deal had a few wee triggers to weigh it in our favour

Shame. Really like him as a player.

Hope we can bring someone in with that sort of energy, directness and goal threat.

4 league medals and a double treble. Was great in the invincible season. Lost his way a bit last year but over the piece has been good value.

Not as good as Rogic, McGregor or Ntcham. Very decent sale if we get anywhere near £10m for him.

If he feels that Southampton are the club for him he's rather than I thought. Money over medals. It's not like he wasn't going to be very wealthy playing for us. Hope it goes well for him but he's joining a championship club.
