Said at the time, for a team we humped regularly we didn't take 1, or 2, but 3 of their diddies, should have saw someone sacked.

Fed up with him not taking games like today by the scruff of the neck. A midfield of Kranjcar, Holt and McCrorie should have had him salivating at the prospect of running riot but instead he played on the fringes.
Krsnjcar was done after half an hour.
15 mins in and he was blowing out his arse. Was shocking that we didn't take advantage of that.

Aye could barely muster a half paced run, yet he lasted about 75 mins......then got replaced by pena. Ffs 😂

Had a hernia op yesterday, would imagine he'll be out for a good bit.

apparently been planned since before the break. any reason why we would take him to dubai instead of booking him in for the op at the start of the year?

According to The Sun...

He’ll miss Saturday’s Scottish Cup fourth round tie with Brechin, followed by Premiership clashes against Partick Thistle, Hibernian and Hearts.
But he could return for the double-header with Russian cracks Zenit St Petersburg in the last 32 of the Europa League on February 15 in Glasgow, while the return takes place a week later.

Exactly what I said on another thread.

Surely they knew about this and could have therefore had him in for the Op and given him more recovery time during our time off.

Team bonding maybe given priority? Seems about the only possible obvious reason?

The other obvious reason is that maybe they wanted him fit should any bids come in? Now that looks unlikely maybe get it done and back in time for the Europa games?

But he wasn't fit if he needed an op.

Made a huge mistake signing such a short contract extension. Based on this seasons form we'll punt him in the summer and his options won't be great. I suppose he didn't bank on hitting such a poor run of form then getting a long term injury.

a hernia isn't a long term injury. he'll be back in a few weeks at most.

that, and the fact he couldn't trap a bag of cement or find a team mate with a pass in a phone box.

It does happen though, look at how badly Brown finished the 15/16 season yet the season before and the season after that were arguably his 2 best seasons since signing.
