He didn't look fit to me , also overweight.
There is no way on Earth he's overweight! If anything, he looks too thin to me :ponder:

I don't think so , his running was poor, but he wil get back to top form shortly.

His best game of the season today. Almost up to the level of the second half of last season

Agreed. Broony was the only Celt better than Armstrong today.

I think the slower tempo hurts him a little.

When we picked up the pace and he turned at their midfield and defence we looked dangerous.

He strolled it. But then everyone in green and white did.

He's a Rolls Royce footballer, though. Glad he's still with us.

Very little credit on here for an excellent performance. Absolutely everywhere, recent drop in form all but shed as a blip. What an engine.

Definitely better in the second half than the first.

I agree. 1st half he was really excellent I thought.

Seen a few folk saying he never played well :ponder:

Having watched it back in full, he should have been in my top three. :brickwall:
Picked some great passes while on the move, especially in the first half.

Not always his biggest fan, but my lord, what a performance. Ran the show along with Broony. If he can keep that level of consistency with finding space for passes and his vision we're going to have a beastin' midfield this season.

Armstrong on song is a great player in our team. I am a tad dissapointed in truth he never signed on for 3/4 years as he does some Engerlund bound (thats what he wants I hear). I like him as as a player in our central three along with Brown and a other.

He played extremely well on Saturday and last season or so seems revel against Sevco. Movement, pace and first touch were excellent and was unlucky to slip when through.

Top Player in our side.

Smashed it on Saturday. Just because he didn't get a goal doesn't mean he's not a massive player who gave a huge performance. Their midfield would've barely coped with him by himself never mind alongside Brown, Rogic and McGregor.
