His inability to consistently pass a ball accurately does my box in.

Still, his hair is fine so all's well.
His basic passing is woefully inconsistent. Even at SPFL level.

Needs to learn how to assert himself in a game when things aren't going well, if you are having an off day then change it up a bit and do the basics aswell as you can. He just packed it in.

Good chance, 25 yards or so from goal, plenty space. Have a effing pop ffs instead of playing the pass.

He was poor, like pretty much everyone in a Celtic jersey.

Slow, poor control, didn't support the forwards adequately, even lacking in courage at times.

Looked as if he didn't want the hassle.

I'm not happy paying him an increased wage to lord it over Hamilton and the like.

If you cannot at least stand your ground in these games, you have no future at CP.

Shat it big time. Inferiority complex. Can't pass the ball. Went hiding at times.

Deserved the hook by being the worst player on the park. And that's saying something.

Was back on form at Hamilton but was anonymous on a night when we needed everyone to turn up and give it everything they had.

Really disappointing at his lack of effort if nothing else.

Was the obvious candidate to get hooked first.

said at the game that if that had been a domestic game, he'd have curled that towards the top corner. Why on earth he thought a pass was a better option is up there with why Griffiths headed his one half chance back across goal.

Armstrong was pish last night. I was genuinely surprised at how bad he was.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
That's ignoring the inconvenient fact that Rogic was also pish last night.
Rogic can pull something out of nothing when playing pish. Armstrong is just pish at this level.
Away in Belgium I think i'd rather start McGregor than either of them to be honest. A hard working and compact middle 3 with our forwards doing the damage. He's also scored fairly regularly up to now this season.

Then Rogic on after 60mins to drag their tiring defence around a bit.

Were there not folk on here wanting to throw 30/40k a week at him to persuade him to stay here not so long ago?

Great in the SPFL, in particular his vision to see the correct late runs into the box and then his shooting prowess, but woefully short at CL level. Lacking in first touch and even basic passing.
He might have another level up in him, but I don't think he'll ever be more than a very good SPFL guy.

There were people that thought we'd get £6m for him in the summer!

In all seriousness, he wants to buck up his ideas because one or two games aside, he's been rubbish this season.

He's a fantastic player on form. He shot himself in the foot with the contract garbage, and should be made to work his way back from the bench imo. We should reward McGregor/Rogic, but when he hits his stride Armstrong is a class player.

Yeah same for me. You would think that a game as big is the one with PSG would be an ideal chance to show that he could perform at that level but like most of our midfield they seemed to be in awe of who they were playing against. He had zero impact and was rightly hooked at half time.
