Needs Dropped.

Or a rocket up his arse.

Or both.
Or to just not have a stinker in the next game? Some ridiculously harsh comments.
Indeed.

If he's not going to sign he shouldn't be playing. Play the players who want to be here.

Thought he was pretty poor tonight. A lot of laboured passes and just general poor decision making. Was basic stuff at times.

To be fair, the above criticism can be labelled at many a better Celtic midfielder than Armstrong away from home in Europe. Still, it's infuriating to watch in a must win game.

His heart is not in it.Fine.

Sign a contract,share the love,then move.

A Dorrans like career beckons.

He won't find a crutch like Rodgers in English championship/lower EPL environment.

Good luck but you ain't all that.

dont think there was a lack of interest or effort, just a poor night.

some of the fouls were frustrating though, especially the one in the 2nd he just barged right through the boy to give them a freekick in shooting distance. stupid foul to give away

wouldnt be surprised to see ntcham come in and keep his place in the team for a bit though

No doubt we looked more fluent when he was subbed. The whole situation needs to be resolved asap, regardless of his decision. But some of the comments here are just bonkers.

I've kept my counsel all summer but he should be extremely grateful to have availed of Brendan Rodgers' expertise and knowledge last season. What a short memory if he's now looking to sail off into the sunset. I'd drop him and put him on the transfer list.

How many counsels do you keep? Same snapshot response to Brendan Rodgers following last week's disappointing 0-0 draw.

He had a poor game but I don't believe it's his attitude that made him play badly. We will miss him if he goes. He was tremendous last year on many occasions.
As much as folk are saying he got the benefit of Brendan last year that swings both ways. Brendan was fortunate to inherit a player with such ability. They both benefitted. I still hope he stays

Poor last night. Think he has to make a career decision either way to get back on track.

Like the guy but he wouldn't be the most difficult to replace even with what we have at the club already.

He's playing very much like a player who doesn't know where he wants to be. He should be benched until he decides what he wants. If his next career move is Bournemouth or west Brom then hell mend him as this is the best it is getting for him.

Armstrong playing at his best is a very good player, Armstrong anything other than his best is very replaceable

He looks like his head has been turned and he wants away. Easier all round if we sell now.
Yeah you may be correct...

He was pretty poor, but when your game is much more than making wee passes 5 yards to the side and you are expected to be the creative one, then playing against a packed defence is tough going. It wasn't happening for him and he got more frustrated as the game went on.

He'll probably score a double against Hearts.

He's made an arse of this contract situation by overplaying his hand. One excellent season. If he screwed the nut at Celtic for 2 more good years he would have a much better chance of getting the consistency he'll need down there.

Anyone can have an off night but I've had the impression for a while that his head is not right. He's not stopped trying but when you are torn about a decision you have to make, nothing you do seems right.

Celtic can't afford to let a player as good as him run down his contract. He has to sign or be listed. And the decision has to be made now. No regrets, no hard feelings, business is business.

Haven't seen him play so poorly in a while. Looked utterly frustrated, like a man who's annoyed a lowball offer for him from WBA was rejected....

Celtic need this sorted now. Bin him or sign him. He's all over the place.
