Apparently he doesn't even have an agent so that story could be pish from the get go

Supposedly his father looks after all his business dealings
He's represented by pfa Scotland with his dad sticking his tuppence worth in

Armstrong is either gonna be sold, and happily so, or he's gonna have to grow a set and tell them to get a deal done

He's not worth being one of our highest paid players just because his dad thinks he is

If it's money he wants he's better off going
There's a lawyer on the scene as well is there not?
aye his agent is liam o' donnell who is also, believe it or not, a celtic fan.

It depends what he wants out of his career. If it's all about money he will go down south. To me he could stay with us for another few years and then go down south if he wants. He's a very good player but he's not irreplaceable.

you would've thought it would've came to a point by now where the club have put their best offer to him. Should just be a case of saying 'look that's our best offer, let us know by the end of the week?'

Maybe that's already happened and it's now a case of SA helping us get to the group stages before moving on.

I thought he would have signed by now but always expected him to want a crack in England at some point. If we don't qualify then he might just want to play at a higher level.

Big SA fan, but he isn't good enough to get to wait till we qualify to choose.

I guess this means bye bye Stuart too. GMS off on loan
Same story was taken down by The Sun. GMS can't go on loan to Aberdeen because Christie is there.

Not sure what it has to do with Stuart Armstrong, right enough.
it was lighthearted reference to a previous poster's point that GMS might be a pawn in getting SA to stay.

The club won't let a player decide whether to sign a deal depending on whether we qualify for a competition.

He either wants to sign a deal or he wants to leave. We can't wait about to the middle of August to see if we do well enough for him.

Turns out wee Stu has a set of balls.

Someone above said he's good but he's not irreplaceable, I reckon that's right. He had a great half a season and he should be staying to maintain or surpass that level and prove he's not doing a GMS.

The manager is the only person at Parkhead who should even be considered as possibly "irreplaceable".

I like Armstrong, and he was very good for most of the season, but he'll not be too difficult to replace.

It won't be easy.

Not many 17 goal in 3/4 of a season players about.

I know what you meant mate.

Armstrong came onto a great game last season and was rightly a first choice pick. If he doesn't want to sign then we have to sell him.
We'll replace him, we've lost far better than Armstrong and still survived.

I'd prefer him to stay but if he is dicking us around then we have to start looking at other options.

Agree with all.

I dont agree though that it'll 'Not be too difficult to replace'.

Boy can definitely play. Knows the league, intelligent and a proper goal threat.
