Regardless of the laughing... Ronny did bring him in, gave Rogic his chance and wasn't scared to play KT when the chance presented itself. 3 of our best players now all given a shot by the bold Deila.

He can claim Tierney and Rogic but Armstrong was only getting worse under him. Started off really well then the longer he spent under Ronny the worse he got.

Good to see him do well and establish himself for the national team in a high pressure game.

Well done Stu.

We all know how good he's been but that performance tonight will have been noticed elsewhere.
Get him tied up on a new contract asap.

Not many debutants will perform to that level. Oozing confidence. Picked a great pass for the goal. Delighted for the bhoy.

Different class. He could be a star for you against England. Think he is due a contract review.

Didn't see it but Strachan described as the best Scotland debut he's ever seen. His season just gets better and better.

With six Celts in the line up it was the first time in a long time I took any serious notice of a Scotland game, and especially for his debut game, Stuart Armstrong was immense. His turn and run to create the goal was excellent, but how good he really is becoming was shown in seeing and making the pass to Martin. If he puts in a performance like that against Engerland we will need to rebuild Hadrians Wall to keep the EPL teams oot.

He has an excellent burst of pace that he uses incredibly well when on the ball. He often, very purposefully, slows down with the ball, allows the defender to close in, only to then burst into full speed and stride right on by - his assist last night was a perfect example of this.

We need to get him signed up on a new contract ASAP. He's starting to fulfill the "Thomas Muller-esque" label that Ronny gave him.
