Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
Agree, he's not a winger..think back to Inter Milan at CP
What position did he play against Inter?
Left hand side, that position he can't play.

I don't think he has contributed a great deal since he has has came to the club, great assist for Scott Brown's goal at Pittodrie is something that springs to mind but overall I would say his contribution has been poor. Too easy possessed and his corners are tolley.
Probably due to a poor exorcise regime.

I like him, there`s a good, clever player in there. He rarely wastes a ball when fit, takes up good return positions and shows excellent timing on his runs into the box....almost all of that was last season and a few glimpses this season before he got the back injury.

Now he looks overweight, half fit, scared, immobile and like he`s been overcoached and afraid to do anything not "system" friendly. Could say the same about at least another 4 or 5 players this season though.

Generally speaking our midfield have been very poor to varying degrees for most of the season so far. I tend to think it's not unrelated to missing the stability behind them that VVD and Denayer provided.

Play him at CM instead of Brown and we'll see him shine

Doesn't have the legs to track back 70 yards in injury time to cover for a defence that has lost all shape and organisation.

A guy afraid to do anything not system friendly wouldn't be trying ridiculous backheels 30 yards from his own goal.

He admitted when he joined that he wasn't fit enough to play with the intensity needed at Celtic.
Nothing has changed.

He's still a student isn't he? Presumably spends too much time drinking and shagging.

He's been on pretty poor form this season. Thought he was going to be a great signing after his start.

Might get a chance in Brown's position now hopefully, worth trying at least. Needs taking off the wing.

Unlike commons who needs the wings taken off him.

The lad is a classic case of a footballer with lots of talent, but not the mentality to push on and improve. Not at a "BIG" club like Celtic. I'm sure we'd like to see the kind of form he was showing after he signed. He's a far better player than he's been showing for us, for a while now. Injuries maybe playing a part. I hope it's just a form thing, and he can get back to where he was. Then get better. If he moved on to a club with less expectation, I think he would do better. He's done okay so far against Ajax.
