There's a lot more to come from him, the weight on his shoulders has been lifted and there's no turning back.

Folk being contrite about their opinions of him last season isn't right. He was woeful, low on confidence, shirked tackles and hid in plain sight.

This season however, he's a completely different beast. I'd effing hate to be playing against him in midfield as, much like Sinclair on the left, he runs all day dragging opposition everywhere. On top of that, he's now brave on the ball, passes forward, commits defenders and conjures up game-changing moments with his goals and assists, like today. What a turnaround. Get him a new deal.
We also had a manager out of his depth who played him as a left winger.
Armstrong has always been a good player, it took brendan no time to find
the best position to play him.

The timing of his run-after he'd started the move with a pass to Paddy-was a thing of real beauty.

He then takes the return pass from Paddy-after he's covered 30 yards- and plays a perfectly weighted and accurate ball across the 6 yard box for Scotty's tap in.

He saw the move some 30 yards and about 10 seconds in advance.

Real quality football.

You nailed it !!

Did everything right today, if you look at the build up to Sinclair's goal, Armstrong starts to make his run and indicates to wee Paddy where to hit the pass, which he does brilliantly. Top top class..

Not wanting to reopen this time night but I don't doubt RD wanted to play him as a no.10 in time. He did it a handful of times and Stuart Armstrong didn't impress.

BR did well to take him out of the side until he started to show what he could do in training

Not to go over old ground but Armstrong didn't play as a #10 today, nor has he recently.

He's a decent player

Don't quite get the campaign to have him played centrally. He's had a few poor games in there.

Good squad player at the moment. Needs to step up and perform consistently now.
Shut up ya fud!

The biggest change in him is mentally. He looks fearless these days. I never thought he'd have the mentality to make it with us but he's well and truly proving me wrong.

Playing him in the right position doesn't do any harm either, mind.

His first touch is superb. Opens the whole game up become he has the ball under control before it reaches him. Reckon there is still more to come from him as well.

Confidence and aggression in abundance, 2 things he badly lacked last season.

To a player who looked weak lack of pace stamina to what we have now is incredible
Long may his form continue

Have to say, I wasn't thrilled with it looking like he was gonna be Rodgers' other choice in midfield, but he's really stepped-up. Playing the best football of his career so far, and getting better. Thought he was excellent yesterday. Humble pie consumed, well done Stuart.

Who'd have thought six months ago that Armstrong would be going to Ibrox and absolutely bossing the game, putting in a captain's performance.

He's been absolutely brilliant. What Rodgers has done to himself, Brown and Forrest is absolutely incredible.
