There was a thread but I can't find it after five pages :suspect:

This boy hasn't impressed me much apart from a few games, he's not a left sided player and picked up a few injuries since he joined us. I've got more pace than him and i'm older than his faither

Get him central and see what he can do, his passing ability is not in doubt and can open up defences.

But wide left is not his position, obviously.

So where do we play this guy ? and instead of whom ?

Good player, more to come from him. Play him instead of Johansen.

Good player. Has a good turn of pace when running with the ball at his feet. We're a better team with him in it.

Smart player but wasted wide left IMO.

Should be played centrally as he is a better passer of the ball than Rogic, Johansen and Commons.

He's wasted out wide but I think Deila plays him there because he knows he'll do a job that others that play centrally couldn't if they were playing wide.

I like him mate, classy big player, but not on the left.

When Allan and Christie get on the scene, I think he might struggle for a place imo.

I agree that he would be more effective centrally, though he and Izzy linked up well in the first-half yesterday. The trouble is that GMS is hopelessly out of form and Forrest is more injury prone than Armstrong is, so we've almost no option but to play him wide.

We're definitely a better team with him in it, though.

Good player. Picked up an injury against Ajax and is taking his time to come back from that. Needs a bit more time to get back to peak fitness and sharpness - as evidenced when he pulled up with cramp yesterday.

I think he's a very good player and he's only going to get better.

I was suspect about him but watching him play he is a baller , without doubt.

Needs to be fitter though and his mental attitude to playing after 60 minutes needs to change. Does he "want it" though? At times it seems he's not applying his full ability, whether it's just a mental block , fitness or he's the Ronnie Deila system.

Get him back fit though and this thread will disappear.

Very good player IMO. Intelligent and good technically is always a good mix.

Even yesterday in the first half he played a brilliant wee 1-2 with Izzy near the corner flag. Wasn't great yesterday but understandable given his lay off.

Drifts out of games and hasn't really found a consistent level yet. He obviously has talent though and hopefully there's more to come, perhaps from a more suited position.

Hope you're right, he's definitely a player that likes the baw at his feet and look around to make a decent pass.

Him an Izzy usually just pass it to each other with nothing happening .

also, may I add, don't care if the thread disappears, the boy's just not been that great for us as I thought he'd be.

He's a decent player

Don't quite get the campaign to have him played centrally. He's had a few poor games in there.

Good squad player at the moment. Needs to step up and perform consistently now.

He's a fairly efficient player - not particularly special. Anyone in the game will tell you that he's decent and has plenty of potential but cannot play the wide left role.

Give him a run in midfield for a bit and see what happens, who he replaces is another matter.

He's definitely not a wide left player.
