Fantastic goal today

Hard to believe Rogic only scored his first ever Celtic goal last August at Firhill, and today was his 17th goal for the club.

his feet are mesmerising. he has skill other players don't understand. His goal today, and the technique involved, was simply staggering. If the day ever comes when we don't want players like Rogic starting for Celtic because he doesn't last 90 minutes, then it's time for us all to pack up and go home. I'd rather have ten minutes of this genius , than 90 minutes from an all energy no-mark.

It's pretty clear he has no great pace, but does he truly lack stamina? I haven't noticed his play drop off as games progress - today, for example, he was still the main driving force in the second half until he was subbed. People are always talking about "blowing out his arse", but that* seems more an echo chamber than a reflection of what's actually happening.

It seems to be more a tactical decision (granted, an odd one, since it's so regular) to give him 60-70 and then alter the approach for the last part of the game.

Either way, the best creative threat we have (had, for quite a while).

*the remarks, not his arse

Worth persevering with for now I think but is he any better than Liam Henderson?
was just amending the sub headline, and couldn't resist re-posting this thread opener from the usually super reliable B. Peru.

His finishing was wasteful, but the dons couldnt live with him and his goal gets better every time you see it.

His technique and touch are incredible and it was on display in abundance today. The flip-side of any wastefulness that he showed today is that he managed to get himself into the positions he did to open up his scoring opportunities in the first place.

2 or 3 seasons ago I'd have agreed, Henderson was the better prospect at the time. The improvement in Rogic has been incredible.

This guy's touch, vision and close control are an absolute joy to watch. I love watching him. That trick in the first half was outrageous.

Increasingly in a league of his own.

If someone could extract that extra 5% from him (stamina, ruthless cutting edge) I don't think he'd be playing for us.

Pure class.

Did you see the home games against Hapoel and Man City?

Folk aren't just saying it for the sake of it.

If the decision to sub him so often was tactical then why is he usually replaced by someone else who then plays in the same position? (Armstrong most recently)

Really coming into his own. Amazing balance for a big guy. Seems to turn so quickly.

The technique for the goal was utterly world class. Such a difficult take that most players wouldn't dream of taking.

Same boat.

Didn't think he could perform well for us and be integral.

He's not perfect but there's a lot to his game.

He really does have dancing feet, needs a smilie!

A bit OT but how many goals have we scored by a player using the outside of his foot this season? 4/5 ?
