Whilst I'm not comparing him talent wise (yet), the way he carries himself reminds me of the way Riquelme used to play in his earlier days

He's beginning to settle brilliantly :) Only issue I have is him and Nirlo are so similar in stature and touch that sometimes it's confusing to know which one of them has the ball

Talent has never been in question when it comes to Rogic. It's just application. Not that hes lazy just he doesn't enforce himself on games. I just hope he isnt our current version of McCourt. He had a great game earlier in the season followed up by a performance where the majority of fans were moaning about.

Agreed.

It's the only explanation for some of the MOTM votes Bitton got yesterday :ph43r:

I've been a fan of Johansen, but Rogic is a good antidote to his loss of form recently and I'd like to see the level of competition continue in that part of the team.
Less energy in midfield but better quality on the ball with Rogic and Biton. It is good to have the choice.

the lock picker we have been searching for.

great game yesterday. he had at least 6 good attempts on target, and is equally comfortable with both feet. it's strange, because his demeanour is one of a man who just had his burd nicked by his best pal, but he comes alive on the ball.
should not lose his place to Johansen anytime soon.

It's a sign of a changing Glasgow, when you can get saffron on the Gallowgate and latte with your roll'n'square in the Gorbals, that this guy isn't even called Tam yet.

Would like to see a bit more of Rogic and a bit less of Johansen over the next few weeks.

Played very well yesterday, unrecognisable from the player he was a year or so ago. Shouldn't lose his place to Johansen anytime soon.

Johansen will have a job getting back in the team
He should have. He probably won't.

I was going to say this yesterday but thought I'd get laughed at!

He definitely has something of the Riquelme about the way he moves on the ball.

Rogic was excellent yesterday and thus far has had a promising season, but his AWOL performance at Pittodrie shows he still needs to demonstrate his ability in crunch games.

He is on the Huddleboard

Thought he was magnificent yesterday, and should have gotten MOTM ahead of Janko. Hopefully he'll continue to play that well, and Johansen has to work to get back in the team.

In fairness he had played a match in Brisbane and travelled to Tajikistan where he played some minutes too in the week before. Playing him was a ludicrous decision.

We play with one up front so we need midfielders to score their share of goals, Rogic looks like he could be our missing 15 goal a season guy with Commons at the latter end of his career.

Having watched him for 2 years playing for CCM in Australia it's great to see him fulfilling a little of his potential. He shone in the Aussie league but granted you are given a lot of time on the ball in comparison to the SPL. The standard of football out with Celtic and maybe Aberdeen is much higher though.

Is this true......?? The standard of football in the CCM is much higher than the SPFL :suspect:
