Great in the first half, popping up in awkward areas and holding onto possession in a way no one else in the team can. If we can find another player like him to sub with him...
Paddy McCourt!

:ph43r:
He is about 25 mins longer than Paddy McCourt, TBH

Played well for half an hour and then his legs went. Shame. He has the ability but lacks stamina and pace.

Out of this world in the first half.

He did something in the first half (and I can't even remember what!) that made me shout "shampooting eff, that's incredible!"

What a magnificent performance. :worthy:

He needs to go on some serious stamina training. Has all the ability in the world.

He was outstanding last night.

He was clearly blowing out his arse after about 50 minutes, but he was the same on Saturday and he played the full 90. I'd rather he was subbed then and we tried to get a wee bit more out of him last night, because Armstrong is nowhere near the same player.

He's a talented player but talent alone is not enough. His fitness level is unacceptable and his lack of stamina actually hurts the team at times. He was playing so well last night, it would have been massive for us if he could have played the full 90mins. But, not for the first time, he couldn't. He was spent after an hour. Our midfield never looked the same after Rogic went off and Armstrong came on.

I don't know how quickly this problem can be fixed, or if it can be fixed at all, but if something can be done then it needs to be done urgently. Rogic has the potential to be a key player for us and he also has the potential to be worth a lot of money to Celtic. If the guy can't play for more than hour then he will never be either. I hope the people at the club who are responsible for players conditioning can find the answer to this riddle. We'll have a proper player on our hands if they can.

He's a class player, but this stamina thing means he'll never fully reach his potential. If he's not got the energy at 24 or however old he is, he'll never have it. Shame.

Well you never know. Novak Djokovic used to have stamina issues but by changing his diet and his training regime he overcame them and is now one of, if not the, fittest player on the men's tennis tour. So it can be done.

Last night proved he is a key player for us regardless of his stamina

Ooozes class at times. Loved the wee bit when he skinned a few players running right through the middle last night.

Can be a bit sloppy at times, and obviously needs to improve his general fitness, but what a great player he's turned in to for us.

Can we not just clone him and then we'll have a first half Rogic and a second half Rogic.

I don't like Tom and Bitton in the team at the same time, not enough legs for the way BR wants to play.

I think this time next year one of them will be out of the team, maybe both.

If his fitness improves Southampton will take him off us. I don't get why he can't last 90 minutes, Brown's had some bad injuries and is much older yet he still dug deep and was making blocks and closing down right till the death.
