Had a great game but he had a lot of time on the ball.
There were a lot of times in and around their box where he didn't have loads of time on the ball and still looked good. Pleased for him. He's a fun player to watch.

The best players always make it look like they have a lot of time on the ball. He has wonderful technique and close control.

I'm so glad it's coming together for him and people are finally seeing the player that we saw in Australia when he was fit. He's got great touch and control, and a physical presence - an ideal player for us domestically at the very least.

Any idea how long he's got left on his contract?
Good question, he unbelievably joined back in Jan 2013 :o

I'm guessing it'll be up next summer
That's what's worrying me just now!

Signed a 4.5 year deal in January 2013 so still 2 years left.

Having watched him for 2 years playing for CCM in Australia it's great to see him fulfilling a little of his potential. He shone in the Aussie league but granted you are given a lot of time on the ball in comparison to the SPL. The standard of football out with Celtic and maybe Aberdeen is much higher though.

Remember he has played barely any football over the last 2 years.

He's already an excellent squad player. If he gets some game time under his belt he will only get better.

At the moment on that performance he should be ahead of Johanson in that position but unfortunately I think Johanson will still be the number one choice.

Yup, I agree.

Thought he was ponderous at first when he first arrived and there is still aspects of his play that reflects that.

He has improved significantly.

Great technique, especially for a tall guy.

I think maybe I confuse his languid running style for laziness :ponder:

Think I recall at one point in the game he was chasing down a Dundee player and moved pretty fast, so maybe he has a 'fifth gear' and we don't see it all that much.

I'd like to see him be a bit more imposing, but it's early yet.

Credit to Deila and JC for helping to turn his career around and fulfill his potential.

He seems like a brilliant player. Glad we kept him around.

Very quick feet for a big lad. Thought he was man of the match yesterday, everything positive in the first half went through him. He deserves huge credit for stepping up & taking his chance after a tough couple of years.

Needed games and is now getting them. Avoiding injury and wiping the slate clean has worked, and the improvement is clear.

My biggest hope for him is that that he doesn't become a flat track bully capable of looking like a world beater against SPFL dross at home, but who can look a bit anonymous in a game we are not controlling.

It's all part of his development, and there is plenty of time for him to become a key contributor when the level is upped.

I've been a fan of Johansen, but Rogic is a good antidote to his loss of form recently and I'd like to see the level of competition continue in that part of the team.

He's always had the raw talent to be a right good player.. It was going to take time for him to settle in coming from Australia at such a young age and then to pick up a serious injury set him back further. I'm delighted he's starting to show what he can add to the team, always looking to go forward with a pass or a shot. The stronger he gets the better he will become.

I remember him playing a lot deeper for Central Coast. Still in a playmaker role but running from deep.
