If he played for our neighbours across the city he would no doubt be called the Partick Platini.

Not a pun or anything, but he's got lovely feet (especially his left) and they get him out of trouble when it seems as though he'll lose possession. It's his awkward style that makes him the player he is and hard for his opponents.

Not the hardest working player, but if you can get the ball into him he'll more than likely create something. Nearly broke the crossbar in two on Saturday.

'The Wombat they cant Combat'

Very good, as is Rogic. We've no idea if he can keep this form up, neither does he probably, but thats the only question mark abt him; he's been outstanding the games Ive seen him in. He free kick against the sheep was so good even Dembele gave it a clap.

Just in from Australia's WC qualifier against Iraq. They won 2-0 and Rogic was the best player on the park by a mile.

He had a superb first touch, great movement, and an eye for a slide-rule pass that Iraq couldn't cope with. Nothing wrong with his engine, he ran his backside off for 90 minutes. He looks a touch above everyone else in that Australia side and that includes Jedinak. He took a sore one on about about 75 minutes, but picked himself up and played on.

Good game and another good showing at International level.

Played a full 90 last night (2-0 win) and had a hand in both goals. Better finishing and we'd have had 4 or more, all laid on by him. After the match Bosnich said he was one of the best talents Australia had ever produced, and would be the player to take Australia to another level. Given Bozza played with all of our modern greats, that's a decent compliment.

He'll fly to Abu Dhabi today (I assume), and Australia will play over there on Wednesday. The heat will be a big factor for Australia over there.

Next month's travel will be to Saudi, then to Melbourne, and the game in Melbourne will be the pivotal one against Japan. Those games come between Dundee away and Motherwell at home, so if he's fatigued, he's got a week of recovery before the game against 'Gladbach. Most of the long travel now is only between domestic games, and none involve Sevco. The only potentially troubling one is coming back before a game against Hearts, but that game's 4 games prior to the split, and hopefully we'll be beyond reach by then.
