Not a 90 minute player.
Just curious, what was the time of his goal today?

The lad should have started and we would have put them on the back foot more. He brings more people into play and Broony seems to play better with him there than bawless Biton or McGregor.
There seems to be a consensus that if he did start, he'd be knackered after 60 minutes, especially if he's haring around out of possession trying to close them down.
Thats true but theres always the chance starting with whats been arguably out most creative player this season could have given us a better start and if we had got the first goal it would have been a totally different night. You then replace him when hes done. Pointless now but just noticed i hadnt been in here to reply.

Really enjoyed his performance today. Playing with a lot of confidence, finding space, taking players on, looking for intelligent attacking passes. If only he was fitter and less languid.

He was impressive, hopefully the fact that he completed 90 minutes is a sign of his large improvements this season

Weight of pass, close control and reading of the play is brilliant.

So much of what we are doing well just now, comes through him.
I think he will have a birthday against our next opponents.

He is as a talented a two footed player as I have seen in a long time but to be top class he has to work on being capable of being influential for 90 minutes. He has definitely improved his fitness and I hope Rodgers can support him to develop further but I think he can be a great asset to the club and maybe be a top bracket player by our standards because at 23 he's got 10 years to work at his game and he could be as influential as ( dare I say and be subject to ridicule, ah fex it, it Saturday night and I had a belt of the pixie juice) Lubo, there I've said it and don't feel dirty or stupid, I think he could be that good!

Harsh, possibly 100% accurate, but harsh! No, I stand by my previous comment , I think he could be that good, he's doesn't have the same level of natural talent but he has that lovely ability to dumbfound defences by simply shifting the ball from one foot to the other and I think aptitude will help him become a top class player! Besides what age are you, very possibly you shouldn't be rude to your elders, and I'm very fexing old!

For a "60 minute player" he got better as it went on today. Thought he was largely anonymous in the first-half but he absolutely ruled the second-half. His feet are immense.

He can find space out of nothing and can hit a ball better than anyone else in the team bar perhaps griffiths. Its all about getting the most out of him now.

In terms of his passing I agree. He can move the ball better than anyone.

I think one of the things he needs to work on is when there is limited space because he seems to run into trouble quite a lot of the time. That's going to happen with wingers and creative players because of their role. I'd like to see a little more improvement there

He's the Canberra Cambiasso, the Aussie Ardiles, the Zidane from Down Under, the Wizard of Oz, the Twinkletoes from the Antipodes. That's not a midfielder, THIS is a midfielder. He's the Fair Dinkum Figo, the Home and Away McStay. He's the Hard Yakka Naka, the Maesteroo, the Cruyff of the Colonies...

Tom bloody Rogic
