Called up for Australia's next 2 matches. One in Perth, the second in Dubai. About the best travel we can hope for, I guess.

His second match will be on the 6th in Dubai, then we've got Sevco at the weekend (on the 10th). Not ideal, but better than heading further on to the east coast of Australia and then to Japan.

are they competitive matches or are they just friendlies? Wonder if BR might ask the Australian FA to omit him from the second one if it is only a friendly..

Always liked him and thought he ran the show against Motherwell last week. Given matches and some time there is more to come from the guy.

Played well in the first half but he's seriously unfit. Blowing out his arse after 60 mins. He needs to improve on this

He had a bit of a dodgy start to the game before his goal but then came into it. If he had any kind of an engine he would be at an EPL club already. As it is I think he is still, on technical ability, our best player--great finish.

If happily play him for 60 minutes in every game for the rest of his career if he's going to play like that.

Totally useless past the hour mark but he was like effing Zidane for the first half.

Great first half, still struggling to remain effective for a full game.

But he's a real footballer and I'm interested to see what Rodgers does with him.

Very composed finish.

He just doesn't look fit enough, and his touch wasn't great the night either. He may well be best as a sub.
