One of only three players last season that gets big pass marks. Shows Rodgers values him as well.

Pleased to read this news. Very talented player who chip in with goals. Could be one of those who doesn't have the engine to go 90mins minimum at this level. He can still make a meaningful contribution though.

Pleased with this. Could see him doing well in a role behind the strikers when we're playing 3-5-2. He certainly has the ability to be a really good player, and Rodgers is obviously confident that he and his team can get Rogic's stamina levels up so he can be more than just an impact sub.

He's a talent. No doubt about that.
The Lisbon Lions squad had a player just like him. Great football player with a killer pass but no pace and a tendency to go AWOL.
He was Charlie Gallacher

Hmm. Really don't get the unanimous delight at this news, other than we'll get a fee in the somewhat unlikely event of another club coming in for him. The boy unquestionably has the skill -- in fact, be has all the attributes a quality midfielder needs -- but he has all the upper body strength, stamina and resilience of overcooked spaghetti.

I will happily revise my opinion if Brendan can work his magic on him. Obviously, with the offer of a new contract to the big fella, he feels he can. It's a wait and see from me.
he never gets pushed of the ball .

I'd be intrigued to find out if he was lasting 90 minutes during his loan spell in Australia. Is it a fitness thing in general or is the pace of the game having an impact?

With Torque on this- a talent but hasn't shown enough for me to be over the moon about him staying!
He does lose out on too many fifty-fifties for me, he lacks pace and stamina. He does his best work coming on as a sub against tiring teams.

Delighted he's been offered a new deal and took it. Probably the only player I would have been sad to see leave from last seasons squad. He has touches of brilliances sometimes and his ability to win the ball back is tremendous. Whatever the issue is with him starting and seeing out full games should be addressed by the coaching staff. He should be a core part of the team from here on in.

Delighted

I'm sure the coaching staff will work on his stamina etc.

Love the guy, has the ability no doubt and his eye for quality passing and shooting makes him a definite asset.

Bit of a surprise. Still don't see where Rodgers wants him to play as he rarely sets up with a #10.

Huge talent and let's hope he kicks on from here.
I agree. Also, Rodgers keeps talking about our fitness, pressing the opposition and pace- not things you would associate with Rogic. Hopefully he works hard and works on his fitness

Really happy with this. He'll be great for games that we're playing against teams who sit in.

He's an excellent option to have in the squad.

If Rodgers and the backroom staff can help improve his stamina and try and move him away from being seen as an impact sub he wouldn't just be a squad player but one of the first names on the team sheet.
