He was rightly dropped after his horror show in Gibraltar. Since then he's showed more than enough in the friendly games to get another chance. Best player for us yesterday evening. Would play him on Wednesday.

He's a good player, one of our better ones. But others have said, if he's not signing a contract then leave him out.
I'd still be inclined to try and iron out the flaws in his game and pay a few quid to keep him. I think he could end up being very useful for someone

Bit more pace and/or strength, what a player he would be with the ball skills he has....but then he wouldn't be at Celtic.
A bit like Commons, great with the ball and able to come up with something special at times, but needs to get more involved in games.

Rogic is far more productive off the bench when teams are tired and there us more space to play in. Plus he was blowing out of his arse yesterday again with 10 minutes to go. Before he starts demanfmdjng salaries off the top earners he needs to be able to contribute for 90 minutes

I don't think we would get more than 2/3 mill for him.

He has a wee bit of guile which can turn things our way. On that basis I'd keep hold of him even if it means losing him for nowt. As a fan that's not really my concern.

I doubt he's asking for top wages. I'm certain he deserves more than the lowest first team salary so he's entitled to bargain for more.

Putting himself in the shop window yesterday. Didn't look bothered the time he played before that.

If he isn't wanting a new deal get him to eff.

He's the type of player who should control any game, but needs to be a better athlete.

If he isn't willing to sign a new deal then I completely agree with certain posters saying he needs sold.

However, I have no idea why any Celtic fan-after the abomination of a season we've just had and the lack of general quality in the squad- would be happy to see the back of Rogic given he was undoubtedly one of our top 3 performers last year, provided he's willing to sign a new deal. I'd be very surprised if he was on more than 8/9k a week currently so surely a new deal financially should be well within the clubs grasp?

To the tune of "make him a effing decent offer or punt"

3k basic was the last figure I read which is why I am sympathetic.

I don't blame him leaving if his salary hasn't been significantly improved on the 3k/wk salary he currently receives. Astronomical salaries to a rotund bench warmer and chaotic captain while a gem exits for nothing. Entirely typical of the chortling non speculator.
A gem? He scored a couple of good goals while barely lasting 90 minutes - hardly makes him Nakamura. He's here for 4 seasons and 23. Unlikely to change.

Still, probably one of the few game-changers in the squad. Valuable impact sub.

Anyone have an idea why Rogic didn't get on last night?

I would have thought that he would have created more chances from midfield.

Is it a contract issue or does Rodgers prefer fitter and more mobile players?

Brings on Johansen early doors because Roberts is injured
Replaces Armstrong with Toure to change the shape of the team
Brings on Dembele for Forrest to give us 2 strikers up top

If Roberts hadnt of had to go off early Rogic might have had a better chance to get on but otherwise Rodgers' subs were bang on the money

Can't be primarily a contract issue because the same manager is currently giving Forrest a fair bit of game time.

I think Rogic is probably too one paced for the manager's liking. It's great when he's got time to pick passes against SPFL dross, but in the cut and thrust of CL qualifiers I don't think he can do the hard yards. And that's even with people like Armstrong in the team being so listless.
