Suffered from RD's inability to stick with a first choice 11, I have no doubt that if he had been on in place of GMS at half time we would have won reasonably comfortably in 90 minutes instead of being in this purgatory of RD's making

It didnae move much
There's a close up angle from behind the goal that I saw on BBC news that actually shows the ball leaving the surface before Rogic strikes it.
It jumps about 2" in the air. You need to see the film taken from behind the goal to see it but it's a pretty significant movement as soon as he plants his foot.
I'll take your word for it that it moves more than that gif shows, but if you look at the distance his left leg moves in my image, and how close his foot is to the ball in the 2nd image, there's not really much scope for the ball to move any more before he makes contact. Maybe without the ball lifting off the deck it'd have flown into the top corner :(

His body shape is all wrong. He was missing that anyway.

I think he'll be the Paddy McCourt of Ronny Deila's team. A bit of exposure and some glory as he looks above a shampoo, underperforming team. He has some obvious talents but he has some massive deficiencies.

If he can learn to use his frame more to protect the ball then he won't be with us for long.

already think this is his best attribute , he seems to glide past people and always seems to get his leg infront of tackles while he just glides on by.

I think that's doing him a disservice. He's getting better at a rate we never saw with Paddy. If he can learn to influence games the way he did against Sevco every week then he'll be brilliant for us. He has the attributes.

He's a far better player than McCourt and will have a far better career than him. He can play more than 20 minutes at a time for a start.

Jesus. He's a mile better than McCourt. McCourt may have some occasions of absolutely outrageous skill, but he was far less consistent. Rogic won't be leaving on a free to go to Barnsley when he winds up at Celtic.

I'm not saying he's as good as/worse than/better than McCourt. What I'm saying is that Paddy rose to some sort of prominence under Mowbray mainly because the team was a shambles and he could do something a bit different against rubbish teams. Rogic this season has been something similar. He isn't ready to be a number 10 in a good Celtic side at the moment. If we were in a better place I don't think he'd have had as much time on the pitch. I hope that in the long run this benefits both us and him though.

He's not strong enough though and is easily dispossessed at times. Opponents should be bouncing off a boy his size. I think it's his quick feet that gets him away from people rather than using strength to hold them off.

McCourt had so much natural talent but didn't have the professional attitude to really make an impact in the game, shame

Comparisons to McCourt are just odd.

Moyes would know how to utilise him. He got the best out of Tim Cahill who plays a similar position. The boy's going to be a star and has more technical ability than anyone else in our team by a distance.

Sand dancer

Did you ever see Paddy play? There weren't any needless step over or anything. Guy just had great feet and balance which allowed him to glide away from people.

Not what I would call a sand dancer.

I can understand your comment that if we were better, he wouldn't have had game time but that is irrelevant now. He did get game time and over that time he improved and without digging into the stats or reviewing the games, I would hazard a guess he had a positive influence in a good proportion of those games as opposed to McCourt who had some off the bench individual cameos.

He has developed into a good player but he still has some development to go. He is still raw around the edges but I think he can continue to develop and currently has a fair number of attributes that will make him a success with us. He came into the game late, so is behind the curve relative to others so he is still maturing and learning. The next manager would do well to continue Rogic's development as he has the potential to be a major asset on the park. Only time, specifically game time, will tell.
