He was ok against Partick in the no. 10 role but he's a much better player playing deeper.

Looks like we've our back up player for Bitton.

Surprised me how well he managed playing deeper, because I'm so used to seeing him as a #10. That touch is what gets him through games - he's used to playing in heavy traffic and having good close control, as he's originally a futsal player.

As his confidence increases, he can build strength and speed. He got axed once and I was a bit worried, but he got up pretty quickly and was back into it. A few more tricks on display today, so his confidence is starting to head up again.

He isnt going to budge Brown and Biton from that role but its good to know he can come in and cover in the spl. I was impressed with him at the weekend.

RD already thinking of when Biton leaves. Rogic could be the replacement
Thats depressing that people think like that.

Biton only forced his way into Rds starting 11 less than a year ago. Theres another 2 seasons in Biton before silly money comes in. That is all depending on him keeping up his performances obviously.

I think hes going to make it if we give him first team games as part of a rotation system within first team selection

And depending on us giving him a new contract. How long does he have left? 2 years?

Thought Rogic had a good game on Saturday, was impressed by how he performed in a deeper role. Looks like he could do us a turn when the fixture list gets busy. He isn't going to take a regular starting place off of Brown or Biton though.

He's had game time in 4 of our 10 games so far, having built upon a promising pre season. Projecting that over last year's 61 game season would see him get a fair amount of minutes if he can steer clear of injury.

I don't see any reason why he can't continue to build match fitness and confidence under the radar as he has been doing.

Rehabilitating Rogic into a first team contributor with future promise would be a serious bonus for 15/16 and beyond, but he's got a bit to prove before that is the case.

In the combative area of holding midfield area there are going to be plenty of game time for third choice. I was surprised how quickly he adapted to role. Even after one game I would rather see him there than moving Armstrong/Johanson.

He has an elegant Paul McStay like style to him. I hope his development continues. He is a very exciting prospect.

Good guy to have on the bench, has shown that he has, potentially, what it takes to play regularly or at least when called upon.

He keeps the ball close like David Silva. He's not David Silva, but you get what I mean.
Reminds me of riquelme

He played there in preseason as well mate, looked great playing there
I was more surprised that Ronny then played him in the number 10 role in the league, which he then scored in though.
If he can toughen up he will be fantastic in a deeper role, people said the same about Bitton and look at him now.
Really think we could have a special player here, him touch and vision is something that a lot of our other players don't have.

I don't think anyone here is actually comparing him to any of those players. He has a certain style that may remind some folk of said players though obviously not as good ability wise (yet).

Bitton has shown that Deila is willing to give players a chance if they work hard. Given that Bitton is, realistically, the next big money sale we'll make, it's good to see that Rogic could come in an replace him.

Starting in the hole for Australia V Bangladesh, and scored after 9 minutes. Already 2-0.
