Saw his thread was active and joined worried that he had been injured on international duty...

Well done Tom, another bundle on your selling value!
You're not the only one

It always seems to happen that someone comes back injured. Griff has still to play... :twitch:

Rogic deserves a lot of credit for what he has done this season. So does RD for giving him his chance. Denying that is just sheer bitterness.

Yep. Rogic is the long term replacement for Commons.

He's hardly played the guy. Rogic has been fit for weeks and only got the last 10 minutes in a game where we were abominable and out of ideas.

I hope Rogic stays. He does things with the ball that I like to see in a Celtic player. To credit the manager for his development is stretching things a bit much I think.
He was playing every week then got injured against Hamilton.
Since regaining fitness (but not match fitness), others have either arrived at the club (Christie, Roberts), returned from injury (Commons), or hit a bit of form (GMS).

Some of the bitterness towards Deila is weird.

The folk who were making the point that Rogic should have started against Killie must have forgotten his abysmal performance against Dundee. I highly doubt he was in many peoples XI in the pre-match thread. Some posters just blatantly refuse to give Deila any credit, even following a match winning sub.

This match winning sub bollocks  The daft carrot picked the wrong team. Deila rolled a dice and threw on Rogic (or did Collins suggest Rogic rather than Forrest ;) ).

Hardly Genius material by making a sub.

MON WGS and Lennon = Great move from the manager. A match winning substitution.

Deila = He picked the wrong team.

Sake... some amount of zoomers here.

Deila should have started him. Commons - who I've always liked, even though he can frustrate the life out me - hasn't kicked his own arse for months.

But, he brought him on and we won the game, so he eventually got it right. The fact we had to endure 89 mins of nonsense will be forgotten in time. It was a good substitution; eventually.

Unleash him against the huns, though they'll kick him up and down the park.

I wonder if Deila has persisted with Commons recently as be believed he could be the player to put the Bosch to the sword. Looking more unlikely with every passing week.

Not starting a player (with a terrible injury record) just back from injury isn't getting it wrong.

I gave him credit for the substitution at the time. I'm not going to put it in every post to make sure the manager's fans don't get hurt feelings on his behalf.

The fact is he's been fit and left out of the team. It took until the last 10 minutes to put him on in a game where our creativity was abysmal. People can say that it's all part of a grand Tom Rogic development programme. I don't quite see it that way.
