It was a fantastic finish but his ability to control a ball and turn in one fluid movement is just magic.

Commons receiving that pass would've had only one thing in mind. Stick his fat arse out, let the guy run into him and win a free kick.

Should have been straight back into the team as soon as he was fully fit. Not like anybody's done anything to merit taking his place.

I would play him before Commons. He gives us some much needed strength in the middle.

Not just strength. He can actually control the ball too. The number of times Commons mis-controls a ball and gives possession away is frightening.

A wonderful, wonderful strike in its own right, but as a last minute winner?

Tremendous :worthy:
Lubo or Nakamura would have been proud that. Goal of our season - that might well have saved the season.

The manager took about five minutes between him stripped and deciding to put him on. You could have hooked either Brown or Bitton and stuck him on about twenty before that. He had the bright idea of actually driving forward with the ball.

Amazing strike.

7 goals in 23 league games in a pish team. Not bad at all. Himself and Griff have carried us this season.

I don't live in Australia any more and never saw him play until he came to Celtic. Lets hope we can keep him for another season or two but if he keeps scoring goals like today it will be hard to see him staying long :(

He's got to start from here on in. Sublime moment of calm and skill when we seemed about to throw it away.

He kind of reminds me of Litmanen, in that he's a big, gangly, awkward looking chap - but with tremendous ability to defy all of the aforementioned and do something outrageous and special.

Needs a longer run in the team now to impose himself as a first team player. When we're celebrating 10 in a row we should doth our cap to his goal today.

Has there been any update on his contract negotiations?
