Hopefully he'll resign and it'll be the big story in the week before the cup final.

May be a bit like sacrilege but i think there are some on here who are overating rogic. He is certainly capable of marvelous pieces of skill and great goals. At least in the spl - as I can't really remember nhim doing anything great in Europe, although I could be wrong with that. Howeve even in the spll he is capable of completely disappearing in games - even before the inevitable substitution at 60 minutes. Imo he is at a club now that brings out the best in him. I think he would be next to useless in a struggling side. Add in his tenancy to miss large chunks of the season through injury, as well as trips home for Australian international and I'm not sure he will be as much in demand as some may think. Better all round if he stays at Celtic.

We should rent him out on a per game basis.

Stuck in darkest China where English is a foreign language but closer to Oz for when you travel home.

Live in Scotland where you are adored but when you go home it’s a bugger of a flight.

On balance staying in Scotland is the sensible option.

I would guess that if he gets a move to one of the bigger cities in China, that the people he would be around speaks better English than most Scots

Think everyone is going OTT here. If he was that good Australia wouldn’t have finished behind Saudi Arabia and he’d have done something in the CL. Amazing performances against the Huns don’t make him completely irreplaceable. It’s up to our well-payed scouts to find someone as good.

Having lived in Australia for a decade, I can’t see why he’d want to rush back, but it’s at worst a day away, so it’s a shampoo excuse

I'm new. Be gentle.
No team in Australia can afford him. And the quality of football in China is garbage, even Partick Thistle beat one of the top teams over there recently. His best option is to stay here long term with a manager who likes him and fans who love him. His focus for most of the summer will be on the World Cup though.

If Ryan Giggs was that good Wales would have qualified for a major tournament while he was playing.

The well paid scouts might find someone as good. The chances of Celtic paying the required transfer fee and wages are slim though.

Guys like Rogic are the reason we enjoy watching football. I've no problem with our fans getting excited about him and going OTT as you put it.
