Buy him his own private jet so he can get to Oz whenever he wants.
Or a pair of Red boots so he can just click his heels .

Yup.

But with their impending relegation I don't think they will be in the position to take players off us for some time to come. Their sole draw - the EPL - is vanishing fast.

If he goes, given that location or climate seems to be the biggest issue, it may not be to another UK club.

However, he is a professional footballer. If he wants to have a career at the top of his game and retire a very wealthy young man, that means Europe. The difference between flying from Glasgow, London, Rome, Munich, Madrid, etc to Oz is negligible.

His wife married a footballer. She may just have to deal with the fact that it is a relatively short time away from Australia to set them both up for life.

I think he'll remain in Europe. Whether at Celtic is another matter. Maybe we'll get another contract out of him. Kf we do, I'd say we've won a watch.

Let's enjoy him while he's here.

double his wages and remind his wife it's a short career. Retiring back to Oz when he's well into his thirties with enough in the bank to only bother getting up to light the barbie isn't so far away really. Punt Sinclair and give Rogic his wages.

And I think I’m going to cry.

The only way he's staying is if no one makes him the offer he's looking for. If that's the case, I expect another Armstrong kinda deal and down the rabbit hole we go next summer too.

FWIW I think he's Joe the toff.

I laughed far too much at that

Personally I think he will fancy a go somewhere else and if that is the case, good luck to him. I think his style would suit Italy or Spain more than anywhere else. He will be afforded the time and freedom in those leagues to do all his wildy insane skillful stuff.

Probably just lazy journalism, intended only to sell a few extra rags and take up a bit more space on their back page. They linked Dembele with them last season and Svietchenko towards the end of last Summer.

If his agent wants to earn his doe, he should be on the phone to the top clubs on the continent(not Barca, Real, Bayern etc, the ones below that level), he could definitely step up a level from us and do the business. Lazio will probably lose Milinkovic-Savic this Summer, that's the type of top side in a top league he should be looking at, he is far too good to be fighting relegation at a club like Southampton.

Well, Southampton is marginally closer to Australia, and warmer and drier.

Starting to have an ominous feel about it, and I'll be sick if he goes. My favourite player for a long time now.

If he goes he’ll need to go to a team that dominates the game and has lots of possession. If he goes to a shampooey no mark team like Southampton and there like he’ll dissapear into obscurity.
