He’s not going anywhere. He loves it here.

You only have to look at his face yesterday - particularly after wee jamesie’s goal.

Love him
Wish I shared your confidence :twitch:
I do think he’ll stay, but we need to bring him into line with the bigger earners.
Any idea what he is on just now?

Is his so-called desire to move because his wife wants to be nearer Australia?

We've been pretty patient with Tom and he's obviously paid us back big time, but I hope he thinks very fondly of us for doing so when it comes to making his final decision on a new contract.

Someone else could probably confirm but i reckon somewhere between 10-15k. Offer him 25k and a new five year deal.

Good point about us being patient with him and hopefully that’s part of his decision making process. Understandably, the next contract is a big one for him and his family, I just hope he stays and fulfills his potential playing for us in the CL.

A lot of the players would do well listening to Brendan when he talks about happiness being a major factor in his working life. The fans love him and he’s only going to get better.

get it signed and announced on the eve of the cup final Tam , followed by a hat trick. Just look at Hoopers career when he left , stay where your wanted and worshipped.

Didn’t actually realise how good he was at the game. Now that I’ve saw it again he was simply sensational. Especially in the first half. We should be doing everything we possibly can to keep him at the club.

I think that, out of all the great players we have, he's the one I would cry most over losing. Just give him everything to stay ffs

He’s quite simply the most talented footballer at the club by a distance. Really hope we can find a way to convince him to stay.

really don't want him to leave. would even be happy with punting it down the road for another yr ie Armstrong, raise his wages, get to 8IAR, pump the zombies a few more times, and have some more time to find or develop some sort of replacement

If it's his wife that is the problem then why don't we try and get an ex-poster on here to set up a honey trap for her, then he can get her punted and settle in Scotland with some Senga fi the Barras!!!

They should really get it sorted before the WC. If we have another Armstrong situation after summer it's not good for anyone.

Is it more of a family thing with him and his wife wanting to be closer to home? Rather than a football thing?
