Very impressive. The potential was obvious from the off but for a variety of reasons he never had the opportunity over the required extended period to adjust to a new team, country and style of play. I think there's more to come once he develops the match sharpness that can only come from regular game time.

Perfect for home games against packed defences, not convinced he's tough or quick enough for some of our away games just yet.

He was actually my man of the match on Saturday. A couple of misplaced passed and perhaps needing to be a bit quicker with the pass but he had a cracking game and the potential is clearly there.

He didn't perform at Pittodrie earlier in the season, but last week he was excellent at 2nd in the league Hearts.
He should be able to handle every domestic fixture.

Surely his quickness and toughness (Or lack of it) will have just as much of an effect - if not more - against packed defences?

His stamina is an issue.

Away from home there's far more work to be done off the ball.

At home we have the luxury of dominating the play which makes it easier for players like Rogic and Tierney to cope with the demands.

Not convinced by that at all. Just cos we're on the ball more often (And we're on the ball a hell of a lot every domestic away game too) doesn't mean there's less work to be done. Particularly for a player playing in the hole like Rogic does as he always needs to get into space.

He's no slower than Commons, who has played in most of our most difficult matches for years. He'll only become tougher if he plays in difficult matches too.

This seems an ideal replacement in time ...Needs to improve on his shooting from long range he makes lovely space but doesn't seem to want to pull the trigger and anytime he does its powder puff.

He's gone from having some promise after a MOTM performance to a slow, fragile coward who's got a powderpuff shot, a lack of stamina and a talent for disappearing in tough away games. How quickly a bit of optimism can dissipate!

I think it's an interesting one to watch, the club seems to have handled his development very well indeed thus far. Tom deserves credit too for the upper body work he took on when out injured.

Hope he's right. Viduka and Kewell weren't bad!
