If he hadn't been sent on as a sub he'd have been taken off instead of Armstrong. Should have been taken off. Bottled it in a few challenges. Poor night for the big man but nothing lost.
Set up the equaliser.

Just as well he stayed on.

I thought Sinclair scored directly from the penalty. Never realised Rogic had a touch. He was dreadful last night and if he'd been taken off I think we'd have won. Armstrong more dynamic and matched their aggression.

Correct. Very lucky to stay on the park.

His ball to McGregor was sublime. Nobody else in our side is capable of a pass like that.

I’ll take your word for it but, it looked like most of our creativity was thanks to Rogic.

I like him but ultimately, he’s not good enough. Great feet, and great passing ability, but decision making is poor and does nothing for the team when he doesn’t have the ball.
Think Christie must feel there's a real opportunity to claim the No.10 spot next season.
I'd have Christie back in a heartbeat.

Nope, totally wrong.

He was poor with flashes of good play.

I like Rogic so I'm not pursuing some long held agenda. I just thought he was poor last night. I think the highlights have been put together by his agent as that was his entire contribution. I realise aggression is not really his game but I felt he was bullied out of it at times last night. One tackle in particular he bottled in my view.

Overall there weren't many players who emerged with credit. I thought we looked a bit mentally jaded - understandable given schedule - which is perhaps why Motherwell's aggressive style paid some dividends.

My major concern last night was Craig Gordon's kicking. Seems to have lost some confidence in distributing it quickly to defenders dropping deep and wide. He launched too many balls into areas we were never going to win.

At the end of the day we emerged unbeaten but I think we need to change it a bit for Saturday with an eye to keeping players fresh for Anderlecht.

This pretty much is all spot on. I am a huge fan of Rogic, so no agenda here

He’s a huge talent and has scored some wonderful and important goals for us but he’s not the “first name on the team sheet” as some have claimed. With players like Wanyama, VVD and Dembele it was apparent fairly quickly that we’d do well to get a couple of years out of the them before cashing in. It’s telling that Tam doesn’t seem to generate the same interest from other clubs. A very good player and he can still improve but their are weaknesses in his game that will ultimately hold him back.
After reading through all the post match hysteria from the PSG game, I think Brendan’s only real tactile mistake was playing Tam.
Lost his touch?
 nice

I think my earlier point has been misconstrued. I did mention I accept the opinion of regulars like yourself, Mikey, Steviebhoy, Remy, Caltonbhoy etc as I know you all go to practically every game. Most have said we and Rogic were pish and never contested that.

Just mentioned, that some don't have much patience for the guy, if he's not producing what we know he can.

Didn't see too much of the game, but he shat a 70/30 in his favour near the end never mind 50/50s.

I like rogic as a player but there is no way he will ever be a permanent starter in a Rodgers team .Great on the ball but Brendan wants a high press for 90 min a bit like commons that just isn't rogic game

I know Hearts aren't very good, but there's no way that Boyata can play the No.10 role against them.

Boyata will not be fine for Hearts. We need to sign a No.10 as a priority as we clearly lack creative depth.

Really didn't think much of him when he signed, then out on loan and most don't come back and make an impact but his football over the past 2 seasons has been superb at times. Big 6 months ahead for him, hopefully he gets his form back, if not he'll only have 1 year left on his deal by the end of the season and will probably be sold.

One of my favourite goals of the last few years
