The way he drags the ball past opponents is mesmerising
Looked really sharp
He'll be important for us further on in Europe should we progress

He's hit the ground running this season. The Confed cup has been an excellent pre-season for him after missing out a lot of last season, hope he keeps it up, definitely one of my favourite players in the team.

Best First touch in Britain
Europe.

No even joking. It might just be because he's got the "good touch for a big man" going for him but I've yet to see a player manipulate the ball in close space the way he does. It's like he's wearing a pair of sambas at 5s the beautiful big legend

You were saying yesterday he should be left out of CL away games

The way he 'manipulates the ball in close space' is one of the main reasons he's essential in difficult away games.

Will be interesting to see if he gets fitter as the game goes given he's barely had a break. Hugely important player.

Sinclair and Rogic have hit the ground running. They're key in the qualifiers I feel.

It depends how you look at it really. If we have possession then Rogic is an asset - when we don't have possession he can be a passenger.

Different players for different games. I think we'll go with midfielders who can run for 90 minutes, win the ball back quick and break on the counter fast. Rogic isn't one of those type of players. We'll see though.

Yup, two of our main match winners and they look so sharp already. Love em both.

Makes a change from having to wait five or six weeks for Hooper and Commons to get up to speed.

He is not a striker. As soon as he moved back we played much better.

Doesnt have the moment to play up front

Didn't look comfortable at all until Hayes came on. Never play him as a striker again.

Yeah, that was a mental decision to play him up top. I agree that we played a lot better with him in the middle of the park. Of course none of that was his fault. Feel sorry for him a bit tonight. He tried his best.

Bad decision to play him up front, Brendan must take the blame, looked a far different prospect when dropped ten yards deeper and able to see the game in front of him!

Looked much more dangerous when he changed positions. Play him in the hole next week, hopefully behind Griffiths.

Not a back to goal frontman, in any shape, in any team. He doesn't have the strength to hold the ball up.He was wasted tonight.
Even watching on a phone then tablet, I could see that.

Poor tonight but played out of position so understandable.
