Hopefully the extra recovery time thanks to the international break has him ready to go.

If he is back training, we shouldn't rush him back into the starting 11, wouldn't want to risk a reoccurrence with the semi so soon.

Knowing Rogic and his fitness, we might not see him back to his best until the start of next season.

That might well be prove to be how it pans out. Although he's been out for some time, it's nothing like as long as previously when his rehabilitation was very slow and included matches with the Development Squad. Be great to see him fit enough to make a contribution in the remaining matches as he's been great this season.

Think the team has missed him of late, he'll be a welcome addition to help us on to finishing this treble

He was having a great season before this injury. Looking a player of real quality.
Glad to hear that he's available for selection and can't wait to see him playing again.

Will be given a bit of a run out before the semi with Newco. If theres still doubt over him he'll be given full recovery to make sure he's ready for the game against The Vermin.

the magic man :naught:

Rodgers said: “The Magic Man is back. What a player.

“He’s an amazing player and can grow into one of the top midfield players in Europe.

“That’s what he can develop into as there’s no doubt he’s top class.

“He’s a good boy too and devoted to his profession. He’s a key player.

“You saw him grow in the Champions League. You saw him against Manchester City and just purr at his quality.

“There was a big disappointment when he got injured because in the week building up to it he was amazing.

“Top players know where there space is and he’s as good as any I’ve seen at finding space.

“What he needed to do was gain intensity and strength and gain more end product. He did all of that up until he got injured.

“He’s a great boost for us in this last 10 games.”

Tom Rogic can become one of the best midfielders operating in Europe according to Brendan Rodgers.

The Celtic manager named Rogic in his squad for tonight’s Premiership clash with Partick Thistle while also issuing a reminder of the 24 year-old’s capabilities.

Rogic hasn’t played since a 2-1 win over Dundee in December and has since undergone an operation on a troublesome ankle injury.

But the Australian, pictured, is set to be handed some playing time tonight as the newly-crowned champions entertain Partick Thistle. Rodgers is delighted to welcome someone he dubbed “the magic man” back into the fold and predicted exciting times ahead for the playmaker.

“He’s back in the squad,” said Rodgers. “The magic man is back – what a player. What a player.

“He’s an amazing player. I think he can grow into one of the top midfield players in Europe.

Tom Rogic is magic
He's called the magic man
It works against Kilmarnock
Where he barely really ran
But when he faced real tactics
He was effing dung
Against sides like Monchengladbach
He'll need another lung

He had a stinker at home against BMG as did most of our attacking players but showed up very well in a few of the champions league games.
